I really liked this game even despite that it is in very early stage
But there are some moments in UI that i think could be changed

1. Right now player's autosaves showed without order. Maybe we can get saves in chronological order? Ie:
- DAY 86
- DAY 85
- DAY 84

2. Right now player could not see what help he could get from Scout in night missions. Can you tweak GEAR menu for night missions so you can see her stats and skills (and ofc picture with her) instead of Lucy's? Also it would be great if player would have option to upgrade her skills like you can upgrade Lucy's

3. Right now player can return from some menus via RMB, but other's menu like asking for support in battle don't have this option. I think it would be better if the different menus have the same workflow

4. Right now some options duplicate each other, like Gather food and Gather reagents, or Burn wood in evening actions and shortcut button near temperature indicator (speaking of temperature, i don't see any impact of this mechanic except of Lucy's level of fracture)

5. Talking with guests. Right now you can see their miniatures only if you choose first option. IMO it would be better to see them even if you just open their menu (also it would be great to have some reaction on second (+ REP) and third (+ MONEY) options)

6. Some of Lucy's pictures (Like GEAR menu, her masturbation in the room at night, events with Runa or threesome with Ellie) don't have variants when she's fractured or severe fractured. I hope it would be fixed

7. I think there is need to differentiate active elements and indicators on screen, because they look the same right now. Maybe you can tweak their outlines or color, idk. Also i think you could regroup Quest Log, player's Level Up, Gear and Items menus, Inn Projects and Companions (and Army) in single corner.

8. I'm not sure if player stats like Power and Agility should necessarily be displayed whole time. Maybe leave them in Level Up / Gear menus and if player wants to train them, just show his current values like
[ Play in the snow (+ PWR, 281/300)]

9. There is no explanation to Lucy's mood mechanic. Common sense says me that gifts, tea party and maybe best food give her better mood, but i think there could be ingame explanation

10. Same goes into Willow's Heart Tree counter. I suspect that this part is WIP, but maybe i missing something.

11. Speaking of companions, there is no explanation to Interest stat and there is no options to pump it (if i didn't miss something) except like through evening party when inn is empty and it is a very sloooooooow way

12. If option in actions menu doesn't have miniature, then if you hover on it you will see miniature to the last button with miniature. I think it could be better to haunt these buttons if they have miniature with WIP warning by default

1. Save menu / system in general will get some love at some point. I hear you.
2. The next version (2.4) will be out on saturday/sunday, and it has all of scout's skills visible (and a rework to the companion combat system, it's much better now).

3. It's intended you not be able to back out of every action. Like at some point you need to just commit. I can do a better job at communicating which actions are menus vs committed.

4. Temperature mostly effects Lucy at the moment - 2.4 has an event with Scout as well. More will come soon. Some menu options are near duplicates and this may change later - probably closer to beta when I'm doing balance pass + polish. Right now they serve a limited purpose tied to progression.

9.Tutorials + sign posting are almost entirely absent. I'm not going to spend time on these until the core of the game is together because systems change too quickly. Sorry for the rough experience in the meantime, but it will get better I promise.

10. It doesn't do anything yet. It will. I just think it's important to have it there so people who like to stick with their saves are aware it will matter at some point.

11. Events always increase companion stats, some dialog options increase them more than others. Almost nothing decreases stats. There will be some new mechanics coming soon (Dates!) which will expand the system, but I don't want to put a huge focus on the numbers because honestly the stats should just increase pretty organically over time as long as you are spending time with them.

But if you then hover cursor onto Spend time with a companion, you'll still get the same picture.
Idk, maybe you marked this in code and this isn't a problem, but if not, it would be much easier to catch these moments if they have clear sign "don't worry, this picture is WIP"

Understood! Yeah this is just stuff that hasn't been added yet. Next version has a few more in there.

So i played new update (2.41)

1. I've noticed some annoying behavior- if player select any available action that open for him other menu and then decide that he need to look his stat menus, then when he closes that menu it's also returns him from his action to base action menu
For example:
- in evening player selects Check on Guests
- player start conversation with any guest
- player open ITEMS menu to check how many items he has and is it worthy to trade them with guests or not
- player closes ITEMS menu and it's also closes his conversation with guest
I think the game should freeze event listener for game process when player opens any menu and handle only players interaction with active menu

2. Some thoughts about new battle system:
- Early battles became harder (now girls cannot carry a fight alone)
- Battles became slower (companion can defend you only after first turn and can attack enemy only on third turn with waiting to regenerate their AP)
IMO companions are in need of starting AP to be able to defend player or a way to spend their resources (fracture level or blood pool) to be able to throw a hands without waiting 2 or 3 turns
- It would be neat if game game displayed a description of the companion's skill when hovering over the skill button like it does with the player's spells.
- Effect of Scout's Rally (regen of player's HP on attack) lingers to the next fights

Soulcatch I don't know all of the inspiration in this game, but I recently played Citizen Sleeper and I feel like some of the mechanics in that game fit very well into what this game has going on.

the cycle/day markers showing how many days or actions until an event happens or to complete, and dice slotting actions feel nice.

Soulcatch I don't know all of the inspiration in this game, but I recently played Citizen Sleeper and I feel like some of the mechanics in that game fit very well into what this game has going on.

Citizen sleeper is great! Not a direct inspiration but definitely similar in a lot of ways.

Thanks for the feedback.

1.UI controls are WIP and I'll be doing a big pass on them at some point. Still getting the menu's sorted.

2. New battle system isn't finished. There will be AP potions soon which will allow you to use the companion abilities quicker. Potions in general will be getting a rework to be a little more useful. The next update (2.5) complete rework potion crafting as well.

Tooltips in general aren't all in either, but thanks for the feedback. I'll try to get some more added soon!

Can you answer the following questions:
Is the story planned to end after ingame year or so, or if players miss some season-related content, can they wait until next spring/summer/fall/winter?
Will we get any answers to what happened to the MC family?
Do you plan to use Runa (the army messenger) in story after fall?
Will the Shrine and related content appear in alpha or you will add it later?
Also i didn't test it, but can player lock themselves out of any companion content, such as by chasing away Scout or by amputating Ailis hand?

1. Game will stay endless. There will be endings to individual stories, but you can just keep playing if you want. The primary story will more or less rap up after a year.
2. The characters family will get more details when I rework the prologue.
3. Runa will absolutely come back, I love that character.
4. All systems will be in alpha, beta will be used to polish + add content. Shrine isn't super far off, should be in an update in the very near future.
5. Yes absolutely - if you tell Scout to leave she does. Ailis sticks around no matter what. Scout will EVENTUALLY have a secondary progression track where you can scoop her back up after telling her to leave (she'll show up again on the patrol map) but it's not implemented yet.
6. I never mind answering questions, all good!

Fixed in 2.5 but there will be even more changes in later updates.
Edit: Sorry realized I skipped over the horn question, I don't know if I'll add a variation to that specific scene, but Willow will be getting more scenes in general.
