in general I agree with most of what you say, but about the mods I dont. for quite sometime now their behavior is questionable to say the least. from refusing to properly tag games, to going and changing tags definitions to fit devs requests. I wont even go on about how they -in my opinion -have managed to make tags like harem as vague and open to abuse as possible and tags like netorare as strict and specific as possible so fewer and fewer games can have it when even according to the devs themselves, they should.
I see some devs creating their own definition of harem, like if the girls aren't going to be exclusive to the MC and they can have relationships with other people outside the relationship, then it's no longer a harem. It's more like an open relationship, and I think they should create a tag like (open relationship), these games are just making the Harem tag lose its meaning/definition. It's like: hey man I'm making a "harem" game but it's not a usual harem, if you're a fan of harem games this game isn't for you, like wtf?
I've had the feeling that ntr groups are more protected, maybe that has to do with them positioning themselves as victims and gaining empathy from the community, but every time I reported people who like ntr for behaving badly, the mods always deleted their comments, which is why I said they're fair. If you see people who like ntr behaving badly, especially in non-NTR gaming threads, just report them and you'll see they're fair-minded too.
I agree that the mods should be more restrictive with devs creating their own definitions of harem, otherwise there will come a time when we'll question what a harem is? If everything can be a harem, then nothing is a harem.
It would also be good if the mods put more warnings in non-NTR game threads, so people who like NTR would stop spamming NTR in games that don't have that content. I think that would make the community much healthier and stop most of these conflicts.
