Yes, it's been 4 years. Yes, we are all starving for sexual content. But the dude is working on this solely. I don't know if he himself draws and codes, and animates or pays for the extra staff to aid in development process, but these things take a shit load of time. Been there, I know, trust me. I studied this shit in college for 2 years (video/board game design), before switching up careers in IT. Besides, Jorgor had some critical life issues due them he had to stall development for some time, so certain updates were late than usual. Obviously, I'm in the same boat of "but when will the content drop?" and the reality is quality content >>>>>>>>> quick content. At least, he is genuinely devoting himself to community unlike other devs whom never show their faces apart when they're in requirement of your money. On top of that, we already have the roadmap for 2025 and that will be entirely dedicated to Meredith's route.
Play something else. There is nothing else to advise here. Be grateful you're getting thousands of hours worth of hard work for free.
Yes, and a 2D game is even worse. The process of making a 2D game is tedious and time-consuming. I wouldn't be surprised if the next two updates are ready in a year. In fact, it seems reasonable to me for a single person, and even more so in a Unity engine.

I convey in every conceivable way I know how and on every platform that this game is a one-man show (including my signature on this very forum which you CLEARLY did not read) and that because this game is a hobby for me, I try and squeeze my time to work on the game when I can.

I won't dispense much in the way of advice since you have a Master's degree and I don't. The only advice I'll offer is: Don't make an uncensored *ncest game if your goal is to make money. I would offer that same advice to those without a Masters Degree as well.
Not be an ass for those who grind their way through degree (cos it's a spectacular achievement that isn't available or viable for everyone) at uni/colleges (I only have bachelor degree), but from my short life experiences (I'm in late 20s) - degree doesn't automatically equalize someone's potential or indication of intelligence. I've seen people being generally as obtuse with PhD and masters as a villager, heck, even villagers do DIY shit I could never fathom with my clear head lol. To me a degree showcases extended knowledge in one or another thing, but nowadays degrees are a cherry on top of your CV than genuine marking of how valuable one is in the jobs market. Though, everything nowdays can be achieved without going to uni/college, but the obstacles are far harsher and taking longer than shortcuting through aforementioned schools.

The next update will be mostly about Meredith, right? We hope we can see the expected scene with the most popular character of the game. Also, how many months will it take?
I couldn't tell you for sure, but there will be two updates for Meredith. You can check the threads before this one for a message from the dev, where he estimates they will be ready in a year.
v0.6 and v0.7 will be almost entirely Meredith. What I mean by that (I have to caveat everything I say) is none of the other LI characters are getting significant love in either of those updates. Today, I fixed Jasmine's eyes and fixed her eyebrows in her sprite rig, but that's only because I happened to be working on Meredith's updated sprite rig, so I was in the neighborhood. There will be some minor features sprinkled in here and there in both the next two updates. Both of the features that were planned for v0.6 have been completed.
Holistically, the goal for v0.6 & v0.7 is to continue Meredith's story to get to vaginal sex, while improving some of her existing story. We have the arc with MC's Dad coming back to town, which is the last bit of business to take care of before the camp trip.
As far as how long it will take, I don't know. My goal is to have both done this year, including the camping trip.

I used to not be a fan of this game's art. But it's flaws and imperfections now actually make it more human and real every passing day. I wonder if there's ever going to be games that look like this anymore. Any new dev wouldn't even bother. Drawing is scary, and AI is just a click away. But what they make will have less of them inside of it
That scene will work in both the camping trip and will work back home in her bed. It should just be a background switch and different dialogue.
After MC and Meredith have sex and return home, the door will be open to finding other places around the house for them to go at it and she will basically become like a "Free Use Mom" for MC. Initially, she will only do it in her bedroom or the shower. MC will have to unlock doing it in riskier/more public areas. There are existing scenes that heavily suggest or foreshadow future sex (the kitchen pose, back yard, couch, shower, etc).

This! I already feel like I made too many characters and don't have enough bandwidth to service all of them. If you want a GILF kind of character, Irene should be right up your alley.
