Proably the best Point&Klick game here so far, but the lack of scenes is a pitty.

There was supposed to be a Meredith scene at the glory hole in the men's restroom but given how long the update was running, I decided we needed to get to 0.7 faster.

to be honest with you the one with conversations is somehow easy i quess? but with the cards is quite hard to figure it out

Completely understand wanting to get to 0.7, but would love to see the glory hole idea revisited. Great update per usual!

I always sound repetitive when I give my two cents on an update, but it still remains the same.

I love what's in here, and what's been added. Your game has actual heart to it. It feels like it was made by someone that actually gets point and click games, with some intuitive puzzles and decent writing.

I always enjoy reading your posts and your avatar is awesome.

It's probably not a surprise that I played the heck out of Sierra adventure games and have a lot of love and nostalgia for them, except for the dumb dead ends and moon logic puzzles (more on that later). I feel like I'm enough of a Subject Matter Expert to do an homage to those late 80's/early 90's games proper justice. The "whole meeting the game devs in the diner" was a nod to Leisure Suit Larry 3 where you can talk to Al Lowe and one of the game designers in the Comedy Hut.

Honestly it's a good little point and click game, that just happens to be porn. Seriously, if you wanted to, you could probably make a decent little non-porn point and click game. Admittedly, you'd probably make two buttons and a penny with a non porn game. Sex sells.

With the way the world is going in terms of censorship, that might cease to be the case a year from now. We'll see. I enjoy the process of worldbuilding and I'm perhaps guilty of spending too much time on that aspect of the game and not enough on the main reason people are actually playing--the p0rn. I'd probably be good at making a SFW game like this but I'd be bored out of my mind without the "spicy" aspects that this game has.

The issue is just production rate. 4 years on, and we probably should have banged either Meredith or Brooke in story by now. It is what it is. It's a one man operation, that isn't drawing primary salary levels, so hey, I get it. It's not like you haven't placed late game "bonus" scenes in to tide people over.

I agree. I was very naive when I started making this game. When I posted the "demo" in 2021, I would have bet that the game would get maybe a dozen the first day and then the game thread would be instantly buried and fall into obscurity like so many new game threads.

If I had it to do over again, I would not have bothered with most of the characters (including Brooke) and just made a game focusing on Meredith and the two aunts. You never know how the public is going to react to your game and I didn't realize that Meredith would be so popular. I would have predicted that most players wouldn't like Aunt Irene at all.

At this point I'm kind of stuck with these side characters. I'm hoping to "finish" both Aunt Charlotte and Jasmine in 2026 to get them off the books (both of them would only need one update each). To mitigage what I've put on my plate, I've decided that for now Nicole is going to be a classic permanently friend-zoned character. Also, I'm keeping the list of locations small. Aside from the campgrounds, the only planned locations are a record store and a jewelry store.

One of my points of advice for this update is perhaps have an occasional dialogue line that pops up during "Hostile working conditions" (or whatever it's called) that comes from MC, after lingering in the diner for a bit, that effectively tells the player to hang around Meredith to over hear the conversations. It's probably in the diary, but in puzzle games you need to consider multiple methods to prod the player in the right direction.

Indeed. The two complaints I've heard the most today is people getting stuck on the diner quest and finding the cards. There was a significant, but unrelated bug which slipped through testing that I need to fix so I already know I have to issue a patch soon and I will take measures to address both of those.

Also, don't forget to have the OP updated. It showing up in latest updates will put more eyes on it. Some of those eyes will be annoying, but hey.

Lastly, as a complete aside, did you name "Officer Rains" that because he "Rains on your parade"? Like is he going to show up to mock other discrepancies and issues, the same way he points out Brooke has yet to get an appropriate outfit. I like it, just wanted find out.

Officer Nolan T. Rains (Officer NTR) was an inside joke that emerged during the development of this update in my Discord. Because I delivered multiple incremental builds to subscribers, I got a LOT of feedback. One of the surprising things was a few people really didn't care for Meredith flirting engaging in innuendo-laden banter with customers and especially the short cook in the diner (even though the dialogue seemed quite tame to me).

Later, when I posted a preview video of Brooke getting out of the car with Carl, people raised an eyebrow because she was wearing only a towel getting out of a 1958 Corvette with her Dad another dude. I didn't feel like drawing a proper outfit on her, so I did the sensible thing and downloaded Police Quest 1 and faithfully recreated the pixelated walk cycles of Sonny Bonds so I could have a fourth wall-breaking character walk in frame and speak directly to those players who might be "possessively minded" towards the LIs and reassure them that there's no funny business going on and they don't have to worry about Five of a Kind turning into one of THOSE games.

In other words, it was my way of saying, "Please don't brigade or #cancel me."

Looking forward to 0.7, and finally being able to fuck Meredith in storyline. Hopefully it doesn't take us too long into 2026 to get it.

There are two ways:
1. Go talk to Scott after losing the first night and he will teach you a "cheat" called Stack the Deck which creates a separate deck that only has 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace that only MC draws from, essentially making it difficult to lose even if you don't know what you're doing.
2. Use the Magic Wand to change Meredith state of undress to "Lost Panties" and then win just one hand and she'll be naked. You might also have to toggle her legs to open too, I don't remember.

Currently, you can have canon sex with two characters in the story: a ghost character (Lucy), and a gray-haired GILF aunt (Irene). There are "bonus" preview sex scenes that are added to the gallery for completing major characters' available story for Meredith (mom), Brooke (sister), and Charlotte (religious aunt).

I have to ask. I beat the Strip Poker legit and I got her naked, touched her vagina and tits and talked a little bit. Is there more things you can do if you win and if so what?

I also lost and came on her, so I have explored that path too.
