What a waste of time.

So... the update starts with... MC coercing his sister into sexy things against her will because she lost the bet?

Nope, she orders him to get his dick out. Really what a shit, this isn't only humiliating but ridiculous. As if they weren't siblings at all, but an ex-couple going for a casual hatefuck.

Afterwards you're forced to progress with her friend Jasmine (even if not interested), which results into having to call her when she's home, but she always claims there's company already. Yet again humiliating. What kind of whimp would call a woman a second time after having been made a fool the first time already?

Ignoring this just to get the update done, calling her twice a day for a full week, which means wait-wait-call-call-sleep-repeat 7 times, just to find out that she's always busy and the game is locked anyways.
Please stop criticizing the developer.. I mean wow, if you don't like something in the game clearly you could find a more constructive way to say it. This developer has changed conversations and situations around before so there's a lot that can be done. The last thing we need is the Dev to feel like he's unappreciated. There aren't any other games like this one - no one makes them anymore so this game is important. Working with Unity is not all that fun, give it a try.

Geez... What is this surplus of negativity spreading bots as of lately? Visited wrong thread perhaps? End of January winter depression? Stinks too much of anti-SS esque fandom lmao.
Exactly. We were all so nice to the dev and the update is coming when he said it would. One little delay, and some mfs go complete apeshit. Story of Moses repeating itself

This is why I try to desperately reduce engagement in discussion threads in general. FoaK is an exception, due this being one of the better incest themed games out there that ticks all my boxes, where content quality is quite delightful, even if it's not super saturated. Apart from that, F95 (no offense, cos the site is great as a whole, just the community sometimes is icky) often feels like visiting 4chan or even Reddit - you try to raise a unique question or sensible discussion, yet get bombarded by criticism when those toxic people have read halfway through your post and rush to answer to be the "jack of all trades" type of a person. It's toxic, it's mind numbing, I wish there was in general dozen of times less toxicity in open forums, but it is what it is in terms of social media kindness. Best for all is to, like I say "pave the road for the dumb" aka completely disconnect oneself from the ever nibbling, dopamine starving energy vampires.

This is exactly why we can't have nice things and devs prefer to bail on this site after some time. There are shitty devs out there that deserve this kind of treatment but when you have someone like JorogrArt who is transparent and presents things as they are, it's not good enough for some people either.

Ffs, if you're that impatient, go find something else to play, it's not like there aren't hundreds of other games here. And if you want to give feedback, you can do so in a constructive way, not in an asshole kind of way.

Other game i love got it's entire thread locked because of people getting their panties in a bunch over an entirely optional thing. It's sad when some people ruin it for the rest.

Wish the site had a way to quarantine users. Put them in a corner until they cool off and learn how to play nice.
I get being angry, but it's so often not productive at all, just entitled ranting. Like these people think a dev makes the game specifically for them and their schedule.

I also think responding to people being blatantly negative, only emboldens those people to continue doing it for kicks.

The whole point is that writing a stupid inflammatory comment takes way less time and effort, than something thought out and genuine.
Thats how it (trolling/griefing/being a pos online) works, since the dawn of time, and there are no ways to entirely ward off the problem, without also hindering the average community user.

You could probably have some internal meta, some kind of like/react that signifies to everyone that this person is full of shit. Not something like a thumbs down, because that signifies disagreement, something that signifies that this poster doesn't even warrant being taken seriously.

You can go into any heartfelt project, where there is clearcut communication between the community that wants it, gives feedback and participates. And in the thread for that project, probably somewhere between 30-40% of new posts disingenious posts about the creators, by people who likely do not even support that project financially.
For some god forsaken reason, there is always people willing to rise up to defend the project, which I understand the desire to do so. It's just not how the internet works, but human nature and technology don't always align well.

I think if mods just had the tool to mute repeat offender users, and make sure everyone else knows. It'd have the desired effect.
Guidelines are good, but if they aren't enforced, some people test the limits without thought.

Other thread i referred to is just locked. Only reason i know why, is that mods have been there before and said "keep it civil and on topic". To newcomers, it doesn't really serve as a warning.

But all this aside. This is a great community overall, and no zealous mods with a ban hammer for anyone who they disagree with.
The people who positively contribute, far outweigh anything the few trolls do.

If you'd actually read the site rules, you would know that criticism of the game is perfectly valid.
While insults and other attacks against forum users clearly are not.

And if you have the idea that anything here might be against the rules, feel free to hit the report button. Just be aware that a good part of the posts above would probably get deleted instead, because they are clearly off-topic and full of generic slander against fellow users who don't share your view of this game.

Well, this isn't the first update that was a huge disappointment, and it won't be the last. Update content volume was as meager as it gets, a fixed linear plot with another horrible femdom handjob scene here and an almost-blowjob scene there. Remind me again, why was this made as a sandbox game in Unity, when the game turns out completely linear without any choices?

Character artwork and in particular the animations are still has crude and inconsistent as in the first update; i'm just not seeing any improvements in the artistic skill department. For a game that has been out for 4 years, and an update that took yet another 7 months, i am really glad that i wasn't paying for it.

The whole writing about Jasmine not only playing porn games (in the 1980s!) but also openly letting a guy know is probably the most cringeworthy nonsense i've yet seen in a game. Overall the whole repeated "pro tip: wait for a girl to make the first move" advice is so idiotic that i'm lacking the proper words to describe it.

Why not be so honest and add the tags "Femdom" and "Sissification"?
Then we'd at least know where you're going with this. Because the protagonist apparently isn't in charge of things anymore.

I apologize for my poor English, I write through an online translator. :coffee:

I read the negative comments and saw nothing but useless criticism. However, I really don't understand what they want and what they don't like. This is similar to the behavior of a schoolboy who writes bad words on the wall in the hope that people will get angry.
Here's what I really see in this game:
1. A game where the player can move, and there aren't many such games.
2. The plot (in my opinion), although it has different interpretations, I cannot say that it is bad. However, I lack drama and sharpness in my relationship with Meredith, everything seems too smooth and cloying.
But there are just wonderful dialogues! They are really interesting and written with a soul!
3. The game continues to evolve and update! Usually, such projects suddenly disappear, and we no longer see them. However, the developer often visits the forum with bonuses, provides information and promises to consider your suggestions! It's just unbelievable how cool it is!
4) Understand that the speed of updates does not depend on the amount of money! The creator of the project is engaged in it simply because he wants to. The game is free, and it's been talked about many times.
5) Meredith's facial expressions deserve an Oscar at some moments! She fits the situation so well.

So, I'm now up to date with the last few pages (sorry, I have a hotfix I'm working on). I check F95 every couple of days (to help preserve my sanity).
Welcome back. The update will happen when it happens. Some of us, are just really happy to see a good game progressing. A lot of them get abandoned with little or no feedback as to why.
But also in the end its a game. The idea is to have fun, not stress and bitch about it.
I'm looking forward to see what's coming. :)

And then there are devs like NLT or Flexible Media...

when is the next update
It's complicated...

v0.5 was posted for Subscribers and Links are currently available on my Discord for the determined; however, I consider that version to be broken and not the version of the game I want to be out there for the next 3-5 months.

v0.5.0.1 is in testing and I would prefer people play THAT version of the game and pending a full playtest, I will push THAT version of the game onto SubscribeStar and Itch.IO.

Question, is the MC (at least in the art of the phone call scene in your pfp) supposed to be a reference to Ross from Friends? Its been bugging me for a while why that looks so familiar to me until now lol
