I had a lot of trouble finding the cards myself. It's because they are in a sense on the fourth wall. The cabinet is on the bottom border of the dining room screen. You look into the room over it so it's almost literally right under your nose. I just had blind spot for that. Now that I've found them I feel stupid for not realising that's an option. Glad to hear I'm not the only one.
