So does anyone know why 0.3.15 version crashes ? Like flat out on second screen after clicking on continue it freezes and crashes. I am running it in sandboxie as I dont trust pretty much anything is being uploaded here, so I am not gonna run it ouside of that - which might be the reason for it, but I never had issue with that outside of some corrupted files here and there.

Nothing against a pinch of suspicion/mistrust, when it comes to stuff from the internet.
Except for the Vikingfiles, which I don't know if they are Lyrical's or F95-staff/uploader links, the others are our own. Otherwise, to be sure you get the original files, you can find those links in our discord as well.
For the issue at hand: You mean the splashscreen, I presume? That's basically a Quit and a Return button as well as... the SnowBlossom Sprite class for a sort of particle effect.
As far as I know, Ren'Py has some issues in virtual machines, relying on the graphics hardware of the machine and that might cause the issue (as does the issue of Ren'Py not playing movies in VMs, apparently)
What you could try is changing the renderer. When you start the game by e.g. double clicking the .exe, immediately press and hold the [shift]. After some time, the game should open with a grey screen and some options.
In the top left, select ANGLE2.
ANGLE2 translates OpenGL/GLES to DirectX 9 and/or 11 (depending on what's present, I think) and is used if e.g. Windows has no or only limited GL support. That might be a solution to e.g. your gfx not being directly accessible in the virtual environment or only through translation layers like DirectX.

Janice and MC's back-and-forth about the game + the flashback and the music was nice!
Man, so many flashbacks... maybe tone them down a bit, in the future?
It bothers me a bit that the characters don't open their mouths when they speak.
The writing has been significantly improved.

There's some fantastic banter in this game between the MC and Sam, Sam and her assistant and the two sisters in the MC's office . It was really funny and I like that. The renders consistently look great and the previous sex scenes were hot as hell.
That being said, I have given it some time and I just don't feel invested in the story at all. Someone wants Sylvia dead and no-one knows why and the Mc feels powerless. Every update feels like a repeat of that situation.
The lewd scenes did not involve sex with the Mc not even the slutty sisters, which feels like a wasted opportunity and felt more like blueballing.
My biggest problem is that the Mc (and the player by extension) has no agency in the situation. He's just along for the ride. Sam is the one doing all the investigating, making controversial and reckless decisions. She and the Mc are supposed to have a history as friends and partners, but she doesn't seem to respect him as any kind of equal. Doesn't consider his opinion in anything. Likewise in the flashback scenes Janica and Sam just drag the Mc to whatever the hell they feel like doing, he hates it but goes along with it anyway.
The Mc is supposed to be some kind of great detective right? can we please see some signs of this because I haven't seen it yet.

Tnx for your kind words, mate. I am glad that you liked the game... Now a few things to clarify...
1. The reason Sam didn't tell mc about her plans, cause she likes to tease mc and knows very well how much mc hates suspense. And secondly, she knows mc so well that she knew mc would never agree with the fake death news.
aside from that, I don't have problem agreeing that I may not be good enough when writing story regarding how the professions/system work, as I am still a student and haven't experienced it yet.
2. As for mc's detective skills... Indeed, you will see it soon

For the record I'm not criticising your talent at writing (I couldn't write my way out of a left corner). As I said the dialogue is great for the most part and even the description of a certain kissing scene in this update was powerful. I'm also not saying that the premise is bad, but rather the way story is progressing, the mysteries and revelations so far just aren't capturing me.
I think that the Mc taking the reins and actually investigating would help that so I'm glad that you're planning to show that soon.
With respect to Sam, I don't dislike her as a character. I feel like the Mc rebelling against her control and choosing when to work with her and what to share or not share with her might actually be an interesting move. How do you navigate a relationship that has both personal and professional ties, when the two of you are in very different situations and have different approaches to the same problem? There could be choices there for the player to make.

Yeah I read your comments and agree with some of what you said. Thing is I don't have a problem with Sam making a move on the Mc that's to be expected in a harem game. In any event, the relationship between the Mc and Janice is technically friends with benefits so he's not her man exclusively.
The game playing and secrets part annoyed me too as I stated.

Maybe, but in terms of the story - the MC doesn't know he's in a harem game - if she's really that close to both of them it would be respectful to make sure she's not misreading or intruding before just jumping in with both feet - And the impression I have is that the MC and Janice may call it FWB but it's deeper than that - they just don't want to name it. At any rate, unless they have someone else they'd like to throw in for consideration, I'm on a Janice solo route now.
I think it's more than just not naming it. I think they are being delusional about the fact that they are clearly in love with each other.
Your points are valid, but I'm here for the harem and there is always some amount of questionable logic and unrealistic reactions in that type of genre. The question is, are those issues so bad that they affect your enjoyment of the game. For me those are not the things that bother me but I can get why it irritates you.
