There is a Hunt command you can use for specific monster and event, but the event is a mess which only show the event name.
Not sure if it's only available thru the Trixie Cheat, or you can get from the Expert Hunter Feat
You can hunt without using any cheats but iirc the base chance of getting what you hunt for is ~50%, certain feats can increase that to ~95% or you can use cheats to make it certain that you'll get what you hunt for.
Karen is a shapely female canine with a thick coat of golden fur. Currently unclothed, her four firms breasts and delicate female features are all out on display. Her canine tail wags happily behind her as she notices you looking at her.
Only recently got into this game, as I had trouble figuring out how to actually play it.
A complaint I have is that, I don't have a transformation fetish per se, I see transformation more as a means to an end to make my character how I want. So naturally, losing combat forcefully changing me is more inconvenient than not. So I end up playing researcher.
Now the question lies, are there any ways to more consistently extend time if there's still things I want to do in a run? And also, is the slut rat quest still a thing? I want to make my character a rat, but Danny, the cute little fucker, won't give me vials despite the wiki saying he should be infectious. So figured I'd try to unlock Lucy, but I'm not sure if it's even possible.

being somone with the fetish I am coming from the other side of your issue, but I will say that Danny will only become infectious if you do the slutrat stuff and to activate it you need to give laronda (or whatever the female rat's name is) something from the sewers. Then she will change into a slutrat and the whole questline will begin. If you want an easy method of transforming you will need to complete the entire quest, then you will have a mallrat "girlfriend" who will be your vector.

So you can go to diego and use the "trick" option with him. If you pass the roll you can get like two extra weeks. Enough success and you can trick him into drinking orc cum and be available for sex w/ you. Also you can cheat w/ trixie and turn on the one that makes it so theres no end. I also don't really like transforming away from human and so you can do the shifting quest. Look up shifting on the wiki, it will let you transform into anything you want. It will lock you out of an ending though. If you do want to go back to looking mostly human I'd suggest the spartan or knight transformations.

Don't know how I feel about Diego. And I do want there to be an end, I just want to end when I'm done, not when the timer runs out. Could even have the best of both worlds in the future. You need to survive for a set amount of time until the military arrives and starts sorting everything out, after that you can leave whenever you want. Sort of how after you beat lethice in corruption of champions you can ascend whenever you want to enter ng+.
And I don't want to be human, I just want to be a rat, or maybe a fox. But neither of those are easy to get, and unless I'm a researcher they're even harder to keep. Although, from what I've read on the wiki, only arctic fox is available, and it's still easier to get than the slut rat quest to get mall rat.

Defeat enemies also give vials (I don't even recall Names NPCs give vials).
Not interested in Rat / Fox myself, but I'm pretty sure there are rat / fox enemies. You can also just use debug commands.
Researcher is made for players who don't want Transformation / or don't want Random TF but specific ones. You are in the right scenario. Do note some events hv Forced Transformation, You can use "Undo" command if you end up engaging a wrong event.
There are multiple ways to extend time, like Diego trick (you don't have to do anything sexual with him); waste a perk upgrade on more time; launch the catapult during outworld exploration, discover the Military radio then report findings
should be more but I dont recall.
The trixie cheat lets you activate / deactivate endless mode at will, at the cost of your points, so you can just disable when you want to End.
Otherwise you can't Choose to END at will, this is a "survival" game at base. (Unless you pay their $25 monthly subscription to get the Pateon Cheats
The wiki is super outdated. Many new things are not there.
If you are looking for specifics, only way is search thru code in git hub.
And you can also use the robust debug commands to avoid annoying bits (like give you rat TF directly. but not time)
Both are shared just a few posts above your initial questions.
I advocate For NG+ like forever, it should be a perfect fit for the "Survial" gameplay side of this game. But Given they even have trouble to port this game to a modern age Engine, it's really a Far-cry.
But, who knows, maybe they will add NG+ when they eventually (successfully) made the port

About the fox TF, actually you can become a silver kitsune (Strange Fox quest and doing lewd things with him after) or a demon fox (summoning Kal' Ren and fighting him to get his fur) too, I know they both are not quite a "pure fox" but they are close enough, the easiest from the two is the kitsune, bc it requires a lower level to complete the quest than kal'ren summon and fight (lvl 20+).
There's also latex fox too, but since I'm not a fan of latex stuff I never tried, but I think he has the easiest TF since the enemy is low lvl.
So uh, I did a bit of digging (i.e. decompilation, coupled with confusing the hell out of myself) and discovered the code. Stand in the same area as Trixie and type "summerfun".
To be honest, I'm a bit underwhelmed. It does have a few nice QoL features (medikit/journal effectiveness booster, experience boost, and a toggle that resets your sanity to 100 every turn) but aside from that everything it does can easily be done via the debug commands.
I'm also not sure how often the code gets rotated, so I have no idea how long this is going to be valid.

If I were to use debugs or cheats or what have you, it would negatively impact my points. But what do points even get you? I completed a run the other day with 2750/2500 points, which only gave me a nonsense title and a code I forgot about the first time I did really well. Should I even care about points to any degree?

Only Trixie Cheat reduce your points. Debug / Patreon cheat doesn't.
Points only affect your ending, nothing else.
It's not a very fresh out system to begin with, and dev haven't put focus on it ever since.
Most Endings are very short and nothing impressive. The code is the same despite your points.
Personally I wouldn't care about the Points nor Ending.
You can even check the outdated Wiki to see the ending differences, since it's really not expanded upon.
Ideally it should've been a rouge-lite, where you care about points, survival and time per run.
But in reality it's not the game it seems to be (at least not Yet). Treat it like a sandbox.

As an exdev of the game.
funfact about the point system, its actually is/was a default part of the inform7 sdk(I cant say if its still part of the default sdk post upgrade that is incompatible with the FS codebase). But they never really made use of it because its mainly made for endings and trying to balance it with many different writers/coders would be pain.
, so while you won't get the original Inform source you'll get the equivalent of assembly code. The main issues I had is a combination of the tools being outdated and the sheer size of FS, so I was only able to get partial disassemblies/decomps, as well as incomplete/broken string tables.

This further confirms the devs are not planning to make this game a Survival / Rougelite anymore (Rip NG+
An unified point system from ground up, shouldn't hinder future development no matter how many hands involved, especially when it only affects the Ending (Or any end of run reward).
You can make it as simplified as possible to minimise the need for balancing. Like devs don't need to think about Pt during the course, but at end putting a flag to categorise events, new sex event 20pts, new no-sex 10pts, etc - no need to credit every single action.
But this requires well planned out system from ground zero, that's why I was hoping something might happen if they port to Godot.
It seems the devs ain't well versed in advanced coding side of game dev, guess it just won't happen, not this game

well let me put it like this. The engine the game runs on is mainly meant for old school text based adventure games like zork or possibly even the first monkey island. Eg games where you type "go north". Its job was to mark every correct or wrong choice you made during the adventure and tally up those choices to give you the ending you deserve.
White it could be possibly read and used during gameplay, you are also throwing even more code at an already giant and old codebase. Combined with the fact that the game doesn't have consistent, well-defined paths for you to gain or lose points beyond cheat abuse. Which can lead to getting locked out of content before you can even reach or understand said content.
In terms of survival this game is ... ok, but it was never going to be some kind of Rougelite. Because while the engine itself could possibly allow it in some form (based off the whole cross version save importing system). You are asking for a core gameplay mechanic that was never considered early in development. And would be extremely painful to staple onto this bloated game. (At best we might give you a password at the end that you then provide at the start of the game to give yourself extra resources a la gameboy game progress saving)
This game along with Liliths throne, coc1, and tits I consider the old guards of furry fetish games. While each has some level of quality they are also very very set in their ways.
As for the godot port it may happen but probably not by the full set of original writers or developers because many have left and some have even placed legalese saying thier content cant be used anywhere else. Eg you have what amounts to "record labels" attached to content which hopefully dont expire.
For the legalese this also extends to the multiplayer version of the game as well.

Lol didn't know there's legalese content ownership complications that make matters worse.
Even the Godot port feels like a pipe dream, unless someone really pushing for it.
So What I was hoping for is actually a "Remake", not something a simple "Port" can achieve.
Oh well, maybe in another life
The "Bloated Contents" is both a bane and a boon to this game.
Very few game can rival the amount of quality contents the game offers - results of years of working.
It also doesn't suffer the burn out / inconsistency of "Filler Contents" (like in Lustful Desires), since every piece of content in FS is "Filler" but it works great for this "Hub-Game" format, not to mention it's not only one guy does the heavy lifting.
.....Probably the only case where "Scope Creep" doesn't matter
The biggest problem is it didn't build a better foundation from start to support the "bloat", and now it's crushing the base.
IIRC, this is the Only "massive furry fetish game" that M/M has weights. (To me it's more of a TF Fetish game - am not exclusively looking for Furry games even tho I like them.)
CoC1 has somewhat OK M/M, TiTs sorta abandoned M/M midway for Futa, CoC2 basically treat M/M as tokenized afterthought - the targeted audiences are really those into Female / Futa / Femboy.
.....I don't know what to think about Liliths Throne XD, don't feel M/M is big in that game either.

I agree, TiTS, COC2 is basically all about futas (rarely "normal" females in there too) and the very few M/M contents you have is garbage in comparison with everything else, since the majority of them are against enemies that doesn't have any weight at the end of the day.
Liliths Throne is more like a sex position/fashions/tf simulator, it has a wider range of filters for what kind of enemies you want to find in your game and you can put a slave collar on them, but it has almost zero relevant male npcs for you to mess with that carry weight, so is basically a M/F ~ F/F (I think?) for relevant npcs but it can be M/whatever-else-you-want for enemies and slaves, the development is a hell/mess for years, and that's it.

as somone who is deep into m/m being gay its why even tho I hate how this game has turned out, I hold it very dear to me. That and it just holds a weird kind of reverence for just working without flash. Plus i will admit I at one point wanted to port most of it to javascript via the vorple extension.
