Here's Sugoi Toolkit V14, also imported it to k-site just in case. (But it takes time :(

Let's see what this baby can do
Big thanks for sharing the program, I listen to a ton of JASMRs from DLsite for the vibe and have wanted something that does exactly this for a while.

I figured out how to get it working for videos using DeepL at least. The program is actually pretty simple. On the main window (in the folder you extracted Sugoi Toolkit into, double click the "Sugoi-Translator-Toolkit (click here).bat") click "Sugoi Audio Video Translator". Every other option will be greyed out other than which translator you want to use. Click DeepL, and in the window that pops up with orange/yellow text, just hit enter and it'll transcribe the dialogue within audio/video files you stick in the INPUT folder (Sugoi_Toolkit -> Code -> backendServer -> Program-Backend -> Sugoi-Audio-Video-Translator), into the OUTPUT folder as srt files, and then translate those files using whatever option you selected.

I don't understand Japanese myself so I can't vouch for how accurate the transcription is, but if you want a more "natural" sounding translation, you could go over the translated srt yourself and edit it, or just use the translated srt to get the general meaning behind what the VA is saying. Beats having absolutely nothing.

Edit: Be aware that the program will completely wipe the OUTPUT folder every time you run it, so make sure you get everything you want out of it before you run it again. After it's finished running, just close any remaining cmd windows.

Edit 2: You don't actually need DeepL installed separately.

Is it normal to have so many cmd windows when running a program? I'm pretty much a pleb when it comes to computer programming, so seeing all those cmd windows running in my taskbar kinda worries me.

I'm going to spend the weekend tinkering around with the toolkit, if I don't get distracted growing my factory in Factorio.

I'm not a big computer guy either, but I've fiddled around with a bunch of third party programs to compress videos to fit onto my phone, change video resolution, interpolate videos, etc. Stuff happening in a cmd window just means your computer is doing something in the background, running a program or whatever.

The wildest thing just happened and I have no idea how. I was having Sugoi translate a couple ASMR videos and out of nowhere, a few lines failed (kept saying "no translation available") and then it translated the rest of everything else into German.

I'm getting the sense that the copious sound effects in the audio are screwing things up somehow, let me know how it goes for you guys wondering if anyone else is going to run into this issue.

Edit: I'm gonna give it another try using Sugoi's offline model instead of DeepL because my internet connection is a little spotty right now. I did manage to get one video fully translated so I'm wondering which version is going to pop out the better translation.

Edit2: DeepL definitely does a better job putting out somewhat readable subtitles better than Sugoi's offline model. I figured out what was going on with the "no translation available" thing; all the lines it happened to were instances of the program transcribing repetitive moaning/sound effects as speech, and it seems like DeepL has measures against the same translation request being sent multiple times in a row. Works just fine if you directly translate the Japanese srt though, odd.

Edit3: If you're getting a lot of "no translation available", a more efficient workflow would be to go into Sugoi's settings on the top right of the main window, scroll all the way down and change the "only_transcribe" value under the "Sugoi_Audio_Video_Translator" section from false to true. Then just stick the transcribed srts into Sugoi File Translator.

If all the dialogue in the motion comic is voiced, your best bet might be to just transcribe it all into subtitles the way you would for ASMR. You could use the Visual Novel OCR if you're watching the motion comic on PC or translate the original still manga, but neither will stick the translation directly on the visual so you're basically just looking at subtitles anyway.

Seems like Flim has been working on loli animation recently (as RIM) which might explain the lack of content

If you wanna know how good the Blue Archive ASMR packs can be, just watch some of the shorts in the official Blue Archive Youtube channel.
the funny part is that BA ASMR are not as good compared to other voice works despite its huge sale number, but it's still decent.

Ah, so the rrats were right all along and Flim=RIM? figures.

Anyway, Flim-sensei's track record is excellent. I think most rational guys would rather he take his time and deliver yet another masterpiece. If he takes a vacation into loli town all the better. Let him get it out of his system so he can create more Gyaru mom perfection.

I mean it's not that hard if you compare both of their works. Unlike people who import models into already made scenes (like what they do to Hongcha), RIM also does his own scenes, but the way the girls act is more or less the same.
