First off, your target isn't the goblin, it's the statues. Apart from that it's just a matter of avoiding the attacks and hitting them when you get the chance.

They kill you in like 2 hits and you can't avoid them at all. The laser goes across the entire screen

In general, most games with actual gameplay, so VNs aside, I've tried here just feel bad / boring to play.

I tried to to drop some of my recommendation into gameplay or roguelite/light every once in a while, but you could probably just browse though the Seeking/recommendation part of f95 forum to see others, like AnAnnoyedFuckingUser's tier list of gameplay game
