Bro this guy is so lost in the sauce its crazy. Theres a world where this direction works. Just drop the weird update expansions that never get finished. Then separate them into DLCs or completely separate games. Focusing one area at a time.

That said, look on the bright side. At least it isn't Eromancer. Dropped a demo and a few updates on the demo for their first project. Basically only dropped art every 3 months for like a year and a half with promises that they were working on it. Abandoned the game to make another game with the excuse of using funds generated from that game to get back into developing the first game. Second game, after at least 6 years of development, still apparently has barely any content, is poorly optimized, and somehow got like thousands of dollars every month.

When this game came out myself and many others were right on board and hooked, I remember thinking "a chikan game with a female protagonist and battle-fuck system? Hell yeah! Only groping atm? That's okay, he says he is adding it in planned for next year, looking forward to it."
Now though? Sorry but he has dug his own grave. He had 5 years to cook, and what has he actually done? Added some janky 3-frame animations and called it a win? Completely done away with the unique battle mechanic and instead focused on making VN-style scenes? He has accomplished less in 5 years than what I have seen other devs accomplish in 5 months, and I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if he uses that raise funds line above to lead into a can't-continue announcement and duck out for good in a few months after the obvious backlash he is gonna get for pulling this stunt.

I agree minus the backlash part. That's not gonna happen. I remember how stoked I was about Summertime Saga back in 2017. Yeah... yeah... good times. Anyway, this dev promised that he'd have it ready by 2020 or 2021. I remember, I was there. I saw the original Ci-en post before he edited it, multiple times at that. What you see is what you are getting, is how the song goes. I'm not even upset anymore. I now derive enjoyment from the situation.
