1) The game is too obscure
2) There are separate sprites for every pose and camera view. Ain't gonna draw ALL of them.
What about a trained AI model ?
maybe a Pony version with some LoRa ? => could add some uncensored sprite, unlimited dress and even give the main character more years and more curves ? (she's being too young for my taste, but i admit : i quite like the drawing style).
But the main trouble at my sight is the game engine. Renpy would be more simple to use and custom. => But remake the game would be stealing the guy work, not very kind for him.

anyone happen to have an updated version of the translation?... I'll take machine translated at this point, over nothing at all.
Well, I'm not part of any translation group and I have no idea how far the manual translation has progressed. I've got the game from the "Gofile" link that's been posted a page or two back. I believe it's ver3.06. Played it for a while, liked it a lot, but encountered too many moonrunes to understand what is happening in the events. Fortunately, the game's data is stored inside an .asar archive, so it was pretty easy to extract and put back. Almost all of the ingame dialogue text is inside the trans_scenario.csv inside "\resources\app.asar\data\scenario\trans\ENG\" folder. You can copy over the files inside or replace the whole folder in the archive to update the translation. I think there is also a way to update the files via placing them into the "patch" folder and running the .exe, but I haven't tried to do it this way.

Anyway, I started manually going over each file in the ENG folder. Replaced and added some lines here and there, but then when I opened the biggest one it literally floored me. Nearly 80000 lines, some of them translated, some of them containing code references, the rest were left empty. None of them in a single range, that can be easily copy pasted over. Even when I tried to work as fast as I could, sacrificing as much quality as possible in favor of speed, it took more than 6 hours to go over the first 5000 lines. At this rate, this task could take days if not weeks, and I don't have that much free time on my hands.

In other words, I had to compromise. Fortunately, again, I managed to Google translate the entire file. Well, it turned out half decent, with the usual caveats of machine translation. Basically, onomatopoeia are fucked in some places, sometimes the pronouns are out of place, and some special words are translated into gibberish, but at least the text is readable now. I also had to spend another couple of hours trying to combine the machine-translated list of lines with the previously translated ones and don't fuck up the code and names. Eventually, I figured out how to do it. So, now my translation is around 18000 lines fatter than the previous one.

I don't know if and when I will come back to clean up and correct this version, but at least I can share the results I have achieved so far. I did a brief test and didn't experience any code errors. If there are any, tell me and I will correct them. However, don't expect that I'm able to do it quickly.

OK, here is my fully translated ENG folder. Use it as you see fit.

I'm unsure whether he changed the translation process in the latest 3.x versions. But we used to be able to translate nearly every dialogue in the game via the files in the "translation_csv" folder. So you don't really need to unpack the whole asar pack.

Hey, I've left some useful info in my guide, so you might want to check it out, your isn't the first mtl released that cover new content however i wonder how you obtained your data, by comparition I've obtained that were 27k missing lines, and that was more than a year ago.

The v2.64 -> v3.06 patch broke the game for me. After applied, the game just won't launch? Tried with both regular and debug version.

Well, nothing too fancy. I just extracted the .csv files from inside the game .asar file. They have exactly the same structure as the ones in the "translation_csv" folder that came with the game. I believe, that was the manual translation. Maybe, there were some machine translated parts added as well. When I compared my version with the one inside the "translation_csv" folder the app gave me around 18000 differences. That's where I got my number from. It may not be 100% accurate. Plus, that 80000 lines total is not entirely accurate as well. It's the total number of lines inside the "trans_scenario.csv". That includes lines containing comments, names, code references, version numbers, so if we only count the dialogue lines the total should be less.

In other words, I have no idea what kind of translation was already integrated into the game when I got it. I just filled every empty space I could find, trying not to break the structure. Line numbers I've got are estimates.

Also, I've downloaded the scenario.csv from the link you provided and it's around 15000 lines shorter than the one I got. It ends at line 59169 and both the one tnat came with the game in my case and the one I filled in with mtl end at line 76608. So, at most there can be 17439 changed lines, the rest could be me editing in empty parts up to the the line 5000 semi-manually.

I mean it was more then a year ago (old update), have you applied beforhand the manual translation that was provided? It would be a shame not using it. Where could get in handy is exactly this as the old mtl provided also the integration for the given partial, if the structure didn't changed you might just want to copy/paste these parts.

I managed to get gemini to translate the game a bit ago. Can someone check if there's a noticeable difference between this and google translate? The process was kinda annoying, so I'd like to know if its worth it.

most trains arn't so packed during rush hours as japanese trains.
and it does happen, and yes,it is illigal.
but like many illigal things, people fantisise about what could happen when they do it.
some people simply look for a outlet and either writhe privite books, publish books for a bit of cash, or make games for a bit of cash.
