So 2.18 was shared here? Cause I've read every page here the moment I made this account. And it was recently sent a screenshot of said update, I wasn't specifically asking if it was shared here, only if it was shared at all anywhere. And there was no mention that I saw of 2.18 thus far except for the screenshot that was posted unless I'm blind as a bat. And if I did miss this then I'll admit I was wrong. Not lazy, might have missed Something, but I have read all 22 pages.. sorry for calling you a dick though.

and with this answer you made everything very right. you found out that it hasn´t been posted here, only mentioned. eventually your curiosity grew even bigger and you searched for it on other sources. you made the absolut correct choice. that´s why i don´t even start blaming you for calling me a dick. ;D
Personally, I've never really understood this mindset too much ultimately. Sure, the person could easily search through the thread to find out they're answer more often than not, but there really isn't any harm in asking, and perhaps coming back later to get the answer to their question if they prefer. Its kind of similar to the whole debate behind someone who would go to a forum to ask a question, rather than try and google the answer, the only difference here being the latter is usually a far more straight up and surefire way to get your answer, as opposed to times on forums requiring you sifting through a few pages, though the search function *generally* manages to alleviate that problem. Either way, not that it really matters much on here from what I've seen, but I'd say generally the best answer is either to simply ignore them if you don't know, or answer it if you and feel like it, both ultimately just kind of detract from the real point of a thread discussing a game in the first place, and yes, I realize the irony in me posting something that has VERY little to contribute to the thread of this game right now. Really, I'm just kind of surprised to see it pop up in my search as updated after so long since having seen it last.

I mean, I did sift through all the pages since I joined. But, idk. Guess I prefer the engagement to make sure I didn't miss anything. I agree both sides dont really help the thread. Also maybe I should've been a little more specific about asking if the update was posted anywhere here or other sites (did search, but in the past someone pointed out sites that didn't show up in my searches, so never hurts to ask)
It clutters the thread. For example, every 2 or 3 pages in the EraTohoK thread is someone either warning about the Exe being flagged as a virus or asking whether it's a false positive. And people, time and again, have to explain it. Another user estimates that 25% of the thread is people asking/getting answers about that particular thing. Or asking for game saves for things in development. If everyone would use the search bar, it would be extremely easy to find. But because people keep asking for it, you often have pages of search result from just the people asking for a save. I feel like it's worth having these discussions because sometimes people do actually listen.
