Unfortunately... I think this because slime are your tutorial monster (which I not use anymore on latter level) and and Dryad-Alure are just OP in attack skills. Dryad attack anyone who in/near the ground and Alure just straight up attack ALL of ground enemy, not matter where you fling her. So yeah, they don't need the extra weapon.

I actually never play Dryad in this playthrough, since I easily get access to the superior version Alure right out the time I see tentacles.

One of the few games I went through and full cleared even though I couldn't read a damn thing. Really enjoyed this one especially with the unit variety. Snake girl and Siren were incredibly useful.

Wasn't this group working on a tower defense or something now? Vaguely remember hearing about it a few years ago, but haven't really looked into it since.

They're still working on it, the blog updates by-weekly. Unfortunately because of their chosen art style it takes a lot of time to properly draw and animate everything.

Best girl is snake girl. She has high attack damage and her aoe attack will more than often (depending on gear) kill every enemy on the screen (and get most of the coins) in one go with proper usage. Those that do not die to snek are hunted by the wolf-octopus girl.
The wolf-octopus girl has the best mobility in the game and also a very high attack damage. She auto-locks on an enemy and she goes through everything to attack them with her sword (also teleports into the air), good for picking up coins out of the otherwise desired jump path, when going for the last kill.
Spider girl can hit many enemies in a straight line. The attack is a bit slow, but hits far far longer than what is visually represented and goes through everything. Her attack is over half a screen long on default zoom levels.

1. Snake girl
2. Wolf-octopus girl
3. Spider girl

I like the starting woman's attack, as she is one of the few women that has a vertical attack. The weird sword maid/second girl you get also has a nice attack with a high attack damage. I never kicked her off of the team unlike most of the other heroines.

The best tip I can give after doing everything on maniac is, when you proceed from normal to hard, having cleared the red bonus stage. You should use and buy the large xp card bonus attachments and add them to all your gear. The xp bonus stacks and it's significant. The common grade feather card is also very helpful, as it shows the otherwise invisible jump path on higher difficulties.

Why Alure is the superior version?

Alure hit ALL ground enemy with basically same attack. That is why I like her. At least until you get regular air enemy.

Glad to hear it. If the quality is anything like this one, even before considering the porn element, I've got high hopes for it.

Curious, in this version does the wolf-octo still glitch into walls/floors? I really liked that unit but it was a little too glitchy on some maps.

I haven't had the problem with the wolf-octopus girl. She simply teleports through everything and by large targets and kills the enemy/enemies, most valnurable to her damage element.

Man I remember playing this in moonspeak way back and trying to make sense of everything with just the kana. Back the last version I saw had a short set of epilogue events but that was it. Half of the characters in the epilogue never had any appearances outside of it. Does the story tie into that tower defense game they're working on?

(hope notes and code is quite self explainable, ask if it's not). What I'm interested in getting to work is "aobWriteExp" - so that I can set a certain XP Level for all the girls I did play a stage with. But the game crashes and whatever i try - going up/down - i can't seem to notice any failure. I am sure it's the right place, cause it's the only one writing and only writing to adresses those 6 players XP are at. My guess is that s.t. is used at another stage, but I can't find out what it is.
@ others - this game is easy to beat, you don't need this. If even it very slightly speeds up things. The reason I did it, was noting it's Unity, so I tried few things out @game hacking as I'm rel. new to it, so I guess I won't explain user coverage here.

Damn this was fun. Anyone got any recommendations for games similar to this? Or at least games with really good sprite animations?

Few tips for people, the best units are -

beelzebub (arachne [any hero + spider] + hornet) - flies continuously after launch so it's safe from cliffs, hits ANY target at any range across the entire map up to 6 or 7 times. If you time the attack right you can wipe out an entire line of units, ground or air. High crit and evasion rate (I got one up to 86% for both stats with equipment). Probably my favorite unit, like you could clear the entire game with just this in your army.

lamia (any main hero + apophis) - attacks in a circle around itself while moving up and forward. Great range for a ground unit, and hits each enemy about 5 times on contact, so massive damage to multiple enemies at a time.

Scylla (kraken [any hero + kraken] + fenrir) - Tanky, high damage and hits any one unit at a time, air or ground. It's a one hit charge attack, and it hits from any range.

You can use those 3 plus some of the main heroes, Sudar does good damage and can kill any ground unit in 1 hit, the main heroine is pretty good as a one off snipe, and Persica annihalates ground units in a line with ease.

Also when you get rare gear from a stage, sell it. It becomes permanently available in the shop and you can buy multiples of it. I don't think this works on the super rare items though.

It's been a while since I played it but there was a 2d demon souls with some porn sprinkled in between called "demon's sperm" although the last time I played it I had to use a third party software to translate it. It's not nearly as hard as demon souls, but I would still recommend it.

My winning combo is 2 scyllas, a syren, a succubus (because lilith is overrated when you can just toss magical nukes in the middle of your enemies) and 2 beelzebubs. Total air domination and when that fails I send in the assasins. Works every time.
