Writing a branching storyline will always be taxing for every time even if you are David cage whom always cheats his way out and most choices in his games are meaningless in the end.Your math ain't mathing but I see you; he'd have to be very meticulous in monitoring variation and that can be taxing for some devs but I think its worth it in the end for having a coherent story that maintains that sweet spot of immersion and goofy bs.
Of course. I think it will be cooler if evil femboy can implement such a system too. I only say it will be very hard to implement such a system without defining a solid campaign first and then defining routes. And even then it will be a hard work. It is doable of course.
Evil femboy had done great job to this point. And as a fan of his game I think maybe toning down the project a little will be a right call to make. Of course in the end the choice of what he does and he doesn't are all his to make.
