game is about 2GB compressed and almost 3GB uncompressed, and most mods/admins here go about compressing anything that is over 800MB most of the time because some people don't have the best connections or that much storage

i have my old hard of 500GB from 2009. and have enough space to download game of 2.6GB and from 1 to 3 is not big deal it is not from 1 to 30 !

again you do, that doesn't mean everybody else does and that doesn't mean that everybody else has a really stable or good connection to download huge games withou issues. Just cause you can easily do it does not mean that others can

Does it hurt anything if a compressed version is offered? I don't think so. Some of use play LOTS of these games. I also like to keep original archives. If you want to protest something, find a worthwhile issue.
