I downloaded the game from the gofile link in the first post, didn't install any mods, and the game says v0.9 at the top not 0.10. Looked over the last few pages and didn't see an explanation. Just a mistake? I'm just starting the game so I can't say whether or not it continues past 0.9.

Hello there. Thanks for waiting. Got some good news and here is the release date for Forbidden Passion v0.11.0.
Release Date: December 15th 2023

Of course things could change and I will give you a notice but so far this is my goal. Sorry for having you kept in the dark so long. There was just nothing to report and my hard drive with important data was broken and I had to find a specialist to save my files.

This piece of news will be free of charge and I'm gonna release a promo pic every 2-3 days or so for free as well.

Till then!

Why the fuck does every dev so prone to harddrive failure? Don't they use cloud backup services or some shit?
Because hard drives are vulnerable hunks of magnetic material. They are scanned hundreds of times per minute over and over again constantly while in use and will fail with the slightest damage or sector corruption. These game devs task those hard drives about 50 times as much as the traditional user with these renders and animations. Until they figure out how to build better hard drives and scanning heads, they're periodically going to fail. And cloud backup? Do you read any of the posts that talk about how long renders, animations and updates overall take? Would you really want to compound that time lag by as much as twice with cloud backups?

I mean SSDs are a lot cheaper now than they used to be. also cloning software is a thing. worst comes to worst just clone the storage drive onto another cheap drive every few weeks or so. it's not time intensive or difficult.
