Interesting mixes pop up too... luckily i read just enough cyrillic to understand the top choice is for domination, but would be nice if it is all one language.

Via the terminal
1. Allow the system to execute this file:
chmod +x ForbiddenThoughts.sh
2. Launch the game:
./ForbiddenThoughts.sh
If you don't want to use the terminal:
Right-click the ForbiddenThoughts.sh file.
Select Properties -> Permissions tab.
Check "Allow executing file as program."
Close the window and simply double-click the file (on some distributions, you may need to select "Run in Terminal" or "Run").
The save pics are so large that they cover the page selection for saving and loading.

yeah, got same problem
i always leave first page for end-update saves and from page 2 saving best parts but in here it's impossible

Sister's name is always in Russian, or maybe a combination of letters from the Cyrillic and Latin alphabet.
In the kitchen, there is a conversation with choices "Ask for some money", "Say she looks good", "Say she looks sexy", and "Go to school". All choices give a subsequent conversations in Russian instead of English, with the last choice continuing in Russian after arriving at school.
The load and save screens have the thumbnails overlapping the page numbers. Once a user clicks on the "A" for automatic saves, there's no way to get back to the other pages because the page numbers are permanently obstructed.
The pop-up windows to confirm load/save actions just say "Yes" and "No". The confirmation question (for example, "Do you want to overwrite this save file?" or "Loading will discard all progress since your last save.") is blank.

I'm not sure if all the controls are working correctly in-game. For example, using my right mouse button does nothing, but it is supposed to access the game menu. Page Up and Page Down are supposed to scroll back and forward in the dialog, but they do not work for me. Also the scroll wheel does not seem to work for rolling back to previous dialogues. In addition, the sister's name is showing up in Russian for her dialogue blocks. It's only because other people have referenced her that I know her name is Alice and not whatever the Cyrillic equivalent is.
right clicking to get to save menu doesn't work, sisters name is in Russian, and the pictures for saves on the save page are to big and block the page numbers. 3 strikes, didn't get past meeting Anya.
