Yes, I have tried switching my locales and have all JP language. I've also tried to run the program in older windows settings without any luck. This appears to be an issue with all Orcsoft games and Kirikiri type visual novels to much disappointment. I'm looking into potentially reverting my graphics drivers, but I would need some more help on that if anyone can provide.

If anyone who can run this game can share their drivers settings, that would be much appreciated.

HOLD UP I JUST GOT IT TO WORK. YOU NEED TO GO INTO PROPERTIES > COMPATABILITY > RUN IN WINDOWS 95

Is this in the game files, or your own computer?

I'm having issues opening the game, I just see a black screen whenever I run the .exe. Is there something I should be doing differently? Whenever I try to run "tvpwin32.exe" I encounter the issue "cannot find startup.tjs,"

Game audio works and the actual game itself is functioning. I can take screenshots of the game, and the images show up pretty clearly.

I've done a little more troubleshooting, and I tried installing another orcsoft game without much success. Audio runs, but the screen is still black. An emulator shouldn't be necessary, but I'm running the games in admin and with a jp emulator to be safe without success. For some more information, my graphics card is a 4070 on a laptop.

My PC is a Windows 11 pro X64 with a RTX 4060, Ryzen 5700x and 32GB of RAM, updated Graphics and Chipset Drivers, but this game can't open for no reason, is requesting a file "startup.tjs", I just give up and I will buy the game, nah.

I tried Japan Locale and Windows 7/95 Compatibility mode, but nothing works.

Take a look at the review I posted for the game. It should help fix your problem!

If you have an issue with the game loading up, try right-clicking the game.exe > properties > compatibility > switch to Windows 95 or some older version. I had this issue, and this helped me resolve it.
