Hey guys, I am a new player to FOBS and I am wondering if there are veterans that can help me out with progressing. I downloaded the October build and I have no idea what to do.

This is not said maliciously, but this is a project at the moment that follows the "fuck around and find out" formula. Explore, see what's in the build, enjoy what's there, wait for the next update (it's got some animations with the ladies, not many though)

The most recent update (like the October build) are part of the new Remake version of the original, so far we really don't have a deep game that makes much sense, it's more of a testing and experimentation build to show supporters and have some work done.
So I recommend you to play the "Older builds" in the original post, first FOBS v.A and then FOBS v.B, those will be easier to play as an actually game where you feel that progress is being made as you move from an area to the next one and unlock more abilities as stuff, they feel more straight forward since you will not have that many options available in the beginning but you may still find things you may need help with like puzzles and some areas/abilities that are not so easy to find out.

That sure would be helpful, specially when as far as I can tell no one remembered to save the old guides somewhere like The Wayback Machine.
Sure, there's still one available in the original post but with the Remake version being released/updates some new guide or an update to the new one would be helpful, to bad places like Fandom became pure hell and it's not worthy the time to create a "Wiki" there.

Okay, I kept on redoing Zell23 animations, I finally got into the game, here's a mega link (different from the demo one) where I'll join from time to time my progress and the redone animations, It's free, But if you like what you find, consider supporting Zell23 it's not thanks to me that there will be more sexual animation in their future games, it will be thanks to your generous donation

Oho? May I ask how you ripped the sprite data, considering they are from the newer engine Zell uses?
I've been limited to using DragonUnpacker for getting into his old Pixel Maker game data but have had no luck with his newer stuff...<.<

In the same way, I tested several software programs to ripper the data from the zell23 game, but unfortunately nothing worked, I then used the oldest trick in the world : take image by image (from the game) and redo them, pixel by pixel, on Aseprite: IT'S LONG. But it's well worth the effort

Oof okay, I was afraid to hear that. I thought you might have been able to sprite-rip the newer builds, for that is the last barrier in place lest I wield that content myself as well .-.

This isn't a game yet.
It's like a stand at an expo like comic con and similar.
You get to explore and fuck around and "fuck" around.
But in aspects of actual game?
There is nothing there, no progression, no story, just showing off concepts like a proof of concept.
TL; DR
Some thing in this remake proof of concepts are unfinished, not implemented or still missing.
Wait until Zell releases an actual build, thank you
I wouldn't go call these "new builds" yet while it is still in this state.
