I think the game just hasn't been properly optimized yet, it's a problem most people have had. It's gotten better over time as the builds progressed, but it's still slower than it should be.

so i did all i could, theres an area above the first tribal girl that you use double jump to get to, i found that and used a leaf lookin item on the sign to open up the door... but heres the save yall! (jan build)

No one knows yet. They aren't capturable in the most recent build as far as anyone can tell, and there weren't any hints at what the methods might be in previous builds.

Basically a full remake of FOBS.
New enemies, remade old scenes (example Kappa), expanded UI and menu and so on.
Best you read up on updates on Fanbox.
Scenes are done.
Now it's all gotta be put into place aka coded/programmed.
If I understood correctly someone else does that part now.
I update this post once I find this "Ansala" account with their interpretation of the game.

That's because it's a Dev/Circle account, it will share info about all the games/projects they are involved just like Zell account have info on both of their projects (Forest of Blue Skin and Shiratane Tower).
The original Shiro no Yakata has been turned into the sequel of the game you mentioned.
