Haha, anyway you should try other things, like using the keyboard “window version“ (the one you can click with your mouse) or change it to a different language [ENG (USA), JAP]. Maybe even redownload the game or trying in other device or account if you can. It could be a conflict with your keyboard language, machine or even save data.

It's likely the save data, which I was going to change. But the reason I'm asking to make sure is because the button DOES do something. Just not what I want it to do. Resetting everything would be the easiest thing to do, but I'm treating that as a last resort since resetting my entire save over one button, while not life-ending, IS a hassle.

Well I wish you luck, you could always ask for someone else save, anyone that didn't played the latest build, probably hard to find but you would have at least less progress to track back.

Thanks. Actually, in looking it up, I find the issue. It's the config.json file. If I just get rid of it, I should be able to properly reset my controls.

Edit: THERE WERE MORE BUTTONS MAPPED THAN I KNEW ABOUT, WHAT THE HELL

I hate to ask again, but I might be a little dumb. I've set that button to M, and it brings up the pause menu. But I do not understand how I'm supposed to access the map. I partially feel like there was a step I missed to properly get a map because of the item that looks suspiciously close to one.

thats because im braindead and forgor. -w-;;; thats the button for map on a different game i played recently.
The real button youre looking for is at the very bottom i believe.

Any1 knows how many of the girls can be captured? I already know 2, the monkey girl and orc lady.

Anyone in the Captured girls tab that have empty hearts with red X's in them are uncapturable... thought that was obvious...

First off, the February build is already here (I think, because I haven't tried it myself).

But I can see what is the problem, even if this post I quoted got reported 3 times already the thread is yet to be updated for some reason.

The build already released in his Fanbox site, but for obvious reasons, I doubt anyone would post it here until a little later since the stuff is paid for, and it goes without saying I doubt anyone would want their paid works to be posted for free -._-.
but the internet cannot be stopped, so obviously people are eventually gonna post it here sooner or later

Thanks. I'd found it by the time you said something, but I think that Game Maker was busted for me anyway. I scrolled down constantly and did not find any of the rest of those inputs, and I doubt I could have done it pixel-perfectly that many times.

You are entirely wrong on the first part, as the February build is already here. Excuse me if this comes of as a bit rude or exasperated, but please use the search button before solidifying a statement that suggests something isn't here already. People have constantly been asking whether a build is here yet or how to fix a certain thing without looking through the threads. Some of them are entirely understandable, but it gets annoying to see requests for the builds constantly when looking up "February" in the thread or just scrolling through it is just as simple. Again, I'm not cross with you in particular, but I'm a bit exhausted seeing people assume what is and isn't somewhere without double-checking.

Also, side note: you're right, a lot of people wouldn't want something posted on a site like this that they created for free if it wasn't intended to be free, but many understand why people do it, as well as the fact that it isn't all bad. Not all people are capable of buying your game, but it's relatively less likely that someone who pirated your game wouldn't have paid for it if they could.

(P.S., sorry for the yap session. Thought I broke that habit, apparently I did not.)

That I'm aware of, I've played a lot of them by now. It's a very convenient place to put your right hand if you're using the arrow keys for movement. Though my hands are long and spindly, I prefer having all my buttons around the same area so I don't have to either reach across the keyboard or move my hand drastically for an input.

I think you understood me in reverse, though I realize I did kinda fuck up that response, and I once again apologize for the rant. I didn't misunderstand you: you said that Zell posted the build on his Fanbox, and specified that it wouldn't be here until later. But that's what I was trying to correct you on. It was literally posted here the same day. So I was asking you to search on THIS site since you claimed it wasn't here yet, which people have either asked about or assumed when just a single search in the thread would prove otherwise.

Edit: I thought about it for a second, and if you have been basing whether the build has shown up here yet based on the main post, which is very possible, that might have contributed to the misunderstanding. The main post gets updated very inconsistently, but the build version get here within a day or two of release, sometimes within mere hours.

February is build 10.
If you count back the months from then you know in what month the development of the remake started.

Some have even been disabled like the tutorial one.
The tutorial is unfinished too.

If I could audibly sigh in text format, I would, because yes, you misunderstood what I was trying to say, and therefore this turned into a back-and-forth which could've easily been avoided if you were slightly more clearer with your wording
