Fair enough, honestly. I'll grab my save file in a little bit for you to use, but if you do genuinely want to get better, I suggest practicing against less powerful monsters to get used to how the game works and improve your fundamental skills. My first suggestion for that purpose would be the Ant Girls. They're not incredibly difficult, but memorizing their tells and preparing accordingly can help you in the long run. (Also, if you do take this route, I can give you small checklist of monsters to practice against if that helps.)

You probably pressed the wrong button. The second button is a "load game" button, the first one is "new game". If you're playing the March build, you likely forgot to change the language (which was the third button) on the title screen so that you could see that clearly. Your frustration is understandable, but make sure it isn't user error before you blame the game.

I did not make such errors, but I will try again and I will only choose English.

I did not make such errors. It's the fault of the save system.

Then I'mma be real with you, that's a very unique issue. If you pressed the second button, Load Game, and couldn't load your previous save data, something messed up on your end that hasn't been an issue for a while. Could you recount the exact process you went through from saving to reopening the game?

Oké I will explain what I did in steps.

Step 1. Before I begin the game. I choose to play in English. During the game I saved quite often.
Step 2. Before closing the game I saved.
Step 3. I closed the game.
Step 4. immediately I reopend the game.
Step 5. I choose Japanese.
Step 6. I replaced the game in another folder.
Stap 7. I checked my save file and lost all my captured, items, money and achievements.

That's what happened.

Hold on a minute, why did you choose Japanese?

Edit: After asking, I did check if changing the language was the issue, but I've found nothing. I'm genuinely confused about how you lost your save. Though I guess there's the possibility that the folder it should be in doesn't exist, hence why it could not be found/read.

tbh that one had a ""gallery"" and it was all automated so i hope that gets changed (and i also hope that ""gallery"" was a placeholder)
i remember an area where all (if not most) enemies was just standing there doing nothing, that's what im talking about
i stopped bothering eventually because i was just spoiling myself before the thing was even out

Someone got an Idea for functional software that could extract animations of the old shiro no yakata and the new FOBS ? I remember someone redoing a shiro no yakata animation but he/she deletes his mega folder with

What happened to Succubus Affection? And why are you so sure it'll happen again when Zell wasn't even the dev for that one? (He was the artist, but all the coding was someone else's doing.)

I mean that in the end it will be "forgotten", it will not be possible to revive it due to lack of content or mods will not be able to be created, but the game is still in progress so maybe everything I say will not come true (hopefully)

Yes, but if it weren't for the fact that they are going to make a sequel, the game would be more dead than I know why in that game you can't do anything else when it's finished and you can't create mods for that game either.

I mean, I guess? The game is still highly regarded even without mods being made for it. It's completely finished, so it doesn't necessarily need to be alive. If FOBS gets the same treatment, sure, it'll sting, but it'll still be a solid, complete experience either way.

Not yet, no. The desert technically exists, but it's a preview area for now.

That was the mirror to the right of the starting area.
It probably is designed to just show off the scenes as you can't escape once ensnared by them.
As for the rest of the place; it's not exactly designed with gameplay in mind.
Just a style, setting and theme.
Idek who gets these scenes or who is working on it.
All I know is that Zell made the art and animation.

Zell added the Dessert preview behind the stone alter that you open with the green orb that you get from Mashira.
Then there is that area between the Potato Race and Fenrirs hallway.
I'm fairly sure that one will be the Big Tree.

I've been limited to using DragonUnpacker for getting into (Zells) old Pixel Maker game data but have had no luck with his newer stuff...<.<

I tested several software programs to ripper the data from the zell23 game, but unfortunately nothing worked, I then used the oldest trick in the world: take image by image (from the game) and redo them, pixel by pixel, on Aseprite: IT'S LONG.
But it's well worth the effort

Do you know how I can install the March build? I downloaded the build on here but it says I miss some MSVCP100.dll and MSVCR120.dll files. I added these files in the folder, but the game would still not start. It said it was unable to start correctly.

This is a C++ issue. Because GameMaker works using C++, if this is the first game you've played on the engine, you'll have to figure this out before you can play any other game on the same engine properly. I (re)posted a solution a little bit ago, just refer to this post.

Ah, the classic GameMaker C++ issue. Not to fret, we've discussed this issue before and I posted a fairly reliable solution that should work 90% of the time.

Though an important step to take before following the advice above is to find anything that looks like the stuff in the screenshot below. Any method of installing the C++ files will fall flat if you try to do so without deleting the ones you have already because the overlap will break things even more, or just cause the download to just not work overall.

March version is a new build of a Remake version of the original (Ver.A/B) made in new engine, new maps, combat, enemies, abilities, QoL features and more.
