That was kinda hard to understand, but answering as if I read that correctly, the point is to help you figure out how to do the puzzle yourself, not to give you the answer. Yeah, the code is the same every time, but again, the goal here is to help you interact with the game more. If I gave you the code outright, there would be no reason to pay attention to the Byakko fight, and potentially none to even visit her if you're not eager to fight her in the first place. Plus, seeing as that puzzle is vital to game progression, there's no point to putting that in a 100% guide, as the goal is to show you how to get all the bobs, bits, and doodads, not to hold your hand on how to progress through the game. I'll add hints to puzzles that are a direct block to progression and I'll give at least a sentence or two letting you know how to access each area, but again, if I tell you exactly how to play the game and how to progress through it, then what's the point of PLAYING the game? No shame for watching animations or videos, but if you're going to play the game yourself instead of watching someone else do it or using a 100% save, then I'd expect the people who read the guide with that intention to have at least SOME desire to progress due to their own wit, will, and skill.
(Side note: I'm not against adding pictures for puzzles for the record, but I only add pictures if something is easy to miss even with words of instruction. Even if the Ruins puzzle were something I chose to cover with full instructions, I still wouldn't add pictures because actually finding and using the code is pretty much impossible to do wrong when you know where to look, assuming you don't have something like colorblindness making it more difficult.)
