May i suggest a qol ehnancement?
A "console" where a user can write the thing that the AI must never forget or misunderstood, like the kind and shape of presence around you, theyr attitude and role toward you, their names. For example, if you have a house and a squad of servants that do the chores, you can set the AI to remember that rhe house is ever clean and that you have that squad. A thing like that.
Working on additional key value memory where memories only trigger if the keyword is found in the game text

Try using Cursor it runs way better and cost around $20-$27 for monthly usage or Pop ai which is a free alternative. BTW are you by chance using claude 3.5? due to it's limitations it could be hindering the games potential output.
yup I mainly use Claude, what's the issue with claude?

Claude has a lower overall proformace cap there is often lag between processes especially when using a heavy workload with a lot of different varibles at once. So if you want to maximize response times with minimal errors I'd switch to another alternative. I've used Cursor for work to write professional resumes and letters for clients we pay around $22.35 a month for usage its not a bad deal since it has multiple uses I'd highly reccomend it.

Huh I thought Claude is the best performing coding AI tho, its the only one that can do complex tasks for me with very high success rate. Chatgpt or Deepseek is very bad. I'll try Cursor tho ty!

I mean that are words that the AI will "remember", you write em in the "remember list" like a said, the situation of your house/base/canp, the roles and the nane and numer of comoanions. Things like those.
Ah I know now like perserve things under the "Entity tab" a persistant event tab of items and People. Its s fickle Bitch sometimes to get them to stick don't know how many times I had to rollback and rephrase things in order to get them to stick. Like the when searching for items the MC finds a Flashlight the word appears in the box but if I don't mention Flashlight a few times it disappears.

I've played this, and it's quite an interesting concept. It's also one of the use cases where I don't despise generative A.I writing or generating stuff for you, which in this case generates some storyline for you to play interactively, although it tends to forget the game state depending on what type of A.I you use (which for me, is expected).

Took a while to get stuff setup locally (tried many other models first).

Win 11 - Used KM Studio with mistral-nemo-instruct-2407
Currently testing pushing my PC limits on a 9800x3D + 3080 TI = Context Length 10000

Very snappy with much better results.

Can you alter entity behavior in the ‘edit world’ menus?
I was attempting to add more colored slimes to the world with specific behaviors. I added them to the entity lists and stated their behaviors in the description for the AI, but other than their stated color change, no other changes happened behavior wise.

For example, adding white slimes that specifically go after breasts, attempting to increase Breastsize and milk production. Focusing less on reproduction and more on growing your breasts to immobilizingly large so you are an easier victim for other slimes. I even added a line that any birthed slime could be any of the listed colors, so the game would be encouraged to add variety.

I guess I’m trying to find the limits of world modification. I’d love to build/modify/flesh out the worlds in my free time, but am unsure on how.

fierylion What tech stack are you using for this? What engine/language etc?
Vite + ReactJS + ShadCN UI (with tailwind)
ThreeJS to display 3D Models
IndexDB to store large amount of game save data

You're definitely getting the hang of it, If you put in that different color slimes would do different things the AI should be able to understand, however the default AI is small so it may get confused if you add too many different entities.

Ah that could have been it. I put in a dozen slimes either unique descriptions. Some to hold the player, others to try to mind control, or specific favored actions. But everything defaulted to green slime actions.
I’ll fiddle with it over the weekend.

did you actually add the slimes to the location? You need to goto Location tab and make sure all your new slimes are checked into the town location

I'm struggling to find the "best" offline AI to play this game. It either produces far too many paragraphs, or just the one with the extra function. Some AI is slow, some AI is not. It's a new world to me, any advice?

-edit-OH! and sometimes the AI just ends mid-sentence. Like it has more to say but.. can't?
