I'd like Spectacular a hell of a lot but I think we'd be very small when it comes to cash flow and representation.Honestly, I would love any of these to be MITYs next project:
The Spectacular Spider-Man
Hard to argue when you put it like thatI'd like Spectacular a hell of a lot but I think we'd be very small when it comes to cash flow and representation.
Add to that neither you or I are paying for this and that's another issue!![]()
Just found It 10 000 000 000 percent funny tbhIt's funny to see the early-zoomer x late-zoomer dynamic going on this thread.
Mity are clearly in their late 20s/early 30s based on the parodies he has made (Avatar, Teen Titans, Ben10...). All cartoons from around 2005.
In this thread, people are asking for stuff like My Hero Academia which is from mid 2010s (heck, even Dr Stone has been thrown around). Unless they are otakus or still keep up with children cartoons, I highly doubt we will ever see something from after 2010. I'm around their age and I still have no idea what a show like Adventure Time is about.
You're really comparing Adventure Time to MHA? Those are two VERY wildly different things. I'm in my mid 30s and could count every anime I've ever watched on my hands. Certainly no otaku. Jumping to the assumption that a show is for kids because it's animated shows a lack of maturity on your part. It's funny to see the early-zoomer x late-zoomer dynamic going on this thread.

No, I said I have no idea what the show is about because it is from 2010s.You're really comparing Adventure Time to MHA?
Sir, this is a Wendy's.Age has nothing to do with people enjoying anime. It comes down to one thing: Did you have any interest in watching The Walking Dead: World Beyond? Me neither. The West has been making nothing but slop these days with very rare hits here and there. More and more normies are moving to anime because it's one of the few mediums that isn't churning out woke slop and actually has a fair number of gems to watch.
You literally opened with calling it an early-zoomer x late-zoomer dynamic. No, I said I have no idea what the show is about because it is from 2010s.
My whole point is that Mity parodies cartoons he most likely grew up with, based on his body of work. and I believe it to be a small chance for him to do a parody of any show post-2010s because of that.
Is zoomer (Gen Z) a slur now? I don't get how a reference of time would get one to jump to (so many) conclusions. That is a cognitive distortion. You literally opened with calling it an early-zoomer x late-zoomer dynamic.
I would rather stick to his body of work as evidence than a throwaway quote, people say a lot of things.MITY already expressed desire to do Dragon Prince some time back so that other point just goes out the window.
That's a very weird point to make. It's funny to see the early-zoomer x late-zoomer dynamic going on this thread.

I really don't get why you people are getting so butthurt over something so minor as "I have no idea what people are into these days".That's a very weird point to make.
I'm in my early 30s, even if they are not from my generations, I grew up with shows from the 80s, then of course, 90s and 2000s.
But.. I still watched shows from the 2010s and still continue to watch cartoons and animes nowadays.
It doesn't mean I have seen everything there is to see, but the same way I don't project myself, and I perfectly understand some people might have moved on, you shouldn't project yourself and declare everyone who was mature enough to understand and retranscript 2000s shows have suddenly lost all interest in animated shows (once again, I include Western and Asian shows).
Quick reminder that the biggest fanbase of MLP, initially a marketing show targeting young girls, was actually men between 20 and 30 years old. Yeah, the same that grew up with 2000s shows...
You may have no idea what Adventure Time is, but quick reminder, you are not the last man alive on Earth, your life experience, or lack of has no authority over other people's experience.
That's not the issue. The issue is you thinking that your knowledge is reference for everyone else and projecting. I don't feel attacked by what you are saying. I'm just telling you, put your ego aside, and realize other people exist too.I really don't get why you people are getting so butthurt over something so minor as "I have no idea what people are into these days".

It is like I'm attacking your identity or something, chill, it is just media.
Don't let what you consume or your opinions define who you are.
