lucky me, since i never followed the show, i'm totally free of prejudices in any direction, and can just take the game without, let's call it.. 'flashbacks' if you will, to any situations a game character had in the show. mentioned it some gadozen pages back; all i've seen was some minutes of the first part, when it was just Aang. i think they broke his bubble. or something.
merely was asking because you do prefer love route and have a hard time with the 'slave' concept as it looks.

Bro what you never followed the show? How have you never watched it? Its one of the best shows that western animation ever produced. You really should watch it at least once, the original series if not Korra.
To answer your question though I have little sympathy for characters who kinda deserve to be treated like shit, or who I feel are annoying. Korra, Azula, and Kuvira come to mind in particular.
For characters like Toph, Katara, Ty Lee, Mai, taking advantage of them and bullying them just makes me feel icky and gross in the pit of my stomach, like I'm doing something morally wrong and I should stop.

on the other hand, i don't even spend that much time watching TV anymore, so much to do so little time

for the badguy act in the game, i can distance myself from conscience far enough to play the mean guy, i guess.
it's a game, i dive into being mean, and come right back out when i close the game. years of practise.

Perhaps not, since this route takes place after defeating Zaheer in book 3, and both the combustion woman and the woman with arms of water, died in that book.
Unless Mity changes the facts or enclose them in a flashback (like the mother of zuko in book 2).

It would be cool, but she's already dead. So the dev would have to write her in some how. Porn Loves could work, flashback sequences could work. Or just say they lived for no reason.

Marty talking. It 's not the coding part which is keeping things back, but the writing. It's things like self doubt and not being happy with the quality which really throws a wrench into things. Not caring is sometimes the best thing you can do to overcome that hurdle and get things done, but also the most difficult one. But yeah I do really dislike cbob's habit of generally being late with telling everybody what's going on. That's something I've been telling him and he really needs to be more upfront with stuff like that.

I think they're the same person. The guy does the coding also does the writing. The coding isn't the part they're running into troubles with, it's the actual writing.

writing is a fair one to hold things up, its hard enough as is but then on top of that the writing thats already gone into this game sets the bar pretty high which no doubt causes insane amounts of stress and pressure

I didn't know people old enough to have grandkids would be into 2D girls. Especially not relatively modern 2D girls. Good on you anyway. I used to watch Zig and Sharko with my cunt ex before she dumped me. Now the show just makes me feel bad so I don't watch it anymore. Its funny enough I guess.
Anyway its not that I can't seperate myself from the slave route, I can, I don't really imagine myself doing those things, its more that watching them be done to characters I care about makes me feel upset. Its like watching someone you love be hurt, it just makes me upset and uncomfortable.

I'm still on book 3, I basically completed Toph's arc but I think since I was so eager to get it over with I ignored everything else and the game apparently didn't want me to do that so I have to complete the other girls before I can move on. I've already done Korra's slave route though so I don't need to do that one.

Honestly yeah. At this point, either he rushes out something sub par and people point out how shit the writting is like in book 4 slave route. Or he takes time to make it good. And as a consumer I'd rather he takes time to make it good because when it eventually comes out it will be worth it, and even worth replays. But if he rushes it, it's gonna always be a bad part of the story that people trash.
