I don't know if there are more people like me or if it's just me, but I think the highlight of the game is chapter 2 where we become Zuko. I even wanted a game just about Zuko and Azula. Zucest supremacy >>>>

Well Sir. I had never actually played the chapter 2 love route - because they are siblings and jikes. But this latest comment finally got me curious enough and I started it. At the moment I've gotten up to the point when they are playing spin the bottle and I can already testify. This route is really enjoyable, it's way more developed than the slave route, and it's simply hilariously written.

Definitely a highlight.

point is, this 'hopping' to somewhen needs an available body at the target time/location. that basically denies the 'original MC' to meet them in person, well except the ancient Ikki, because she's around long enough to catch up in time with this 'original MC' at the very end.

see this is why you don't effin' jump back in time! it messes up everything from that point.
big wholesome snakey snake even tells explicitely, it had to fix quite a bunch of paradoxes it's splitsies had created with all the time hopping.

Well MC tells her, that she is to move on when he leaves for his world.
And the pregnancy is kinda eye raising, but remember it's not even MCs child, he's in Aaang's body, therefor it's Aang's child and Aang is the one Katara canonically marries anyway. (Also the pregnancy stuff is only in game because a player may be into preggo stuff - therefor it matters even if it doesn't storywise ).

All of this could be addressed but it doesn't really have to. From Katara's perspective the MC is the essence of some otherworldly being on a mission from the gods, who temporarily inhabitated the body of the Avatar Aang, a guy she was interested in to begin with and than left to return at a later date in another body. I have no problem with her moving on in any way.

But aside from me being able to hand wave this away and regardless of whether you agree with me or find this very distracting or something in between - it's still a result of Mity's writing choices, and not a result of having some weird story elements imposed on him that would arise without the MC. So that's something I guess.

From what I can see at the moment it's probably the other way around, since the love routes have been developed further ^^. But I'd guess the intention is for them to be equal branches - however that will supposedly work ...

i mean mc or any of the the girl do not seem to be dedicated to each others, they make big promises but when they are not each other they just go their own way, the only connection they seem to have feels sexual, i guess its because of the attempt to merge Avatar canon with Game's universe. but hey i am not complaining i love the game it's been a journey, these can easily be fixed by adding few extra dialogues or changing few already existing. plus would love to know what to all the girls we met^^

i mean mc or any of the the girl do not seem to be dedicated to each others, they make big promises but when they are not each other they just go their own way, the only connection they seem to have feels sexual, i guess its because of the attempt to merge Avatar canon with Game's universe. but hey i am not complaining i love the game it's been a journey, these can easily be fixed by adding few extra dialogues or changing few already existing. plus would love to know what to all the girls we met^^

You could also argue they form an especially deep connection, since they don't seem to be preferential towards a particular body that the MC is possessing. Granted it's not developed that far for all girls, but for Katara at least it is.

I've always been a fan of the sibling romance trope.

Zuko and Azula have the most interesting relationship in the series. They grew up together, know each other unbelievably well, and were once happy. They were also raised to be enemies and nearly killed each other.

On the fateful, infamous night he went to her room. They were all alone, and she was so close - too close. Her voice, her movements, her stare… everything was as far from a normal sibling interaction as possible. It is all there.

But most people will never see it for what it is. And for what it could be.

And this is all explored in this chapter, it's much better than following the slave route where you just happen to fuck the characters and move on to the next chapter... :v

I remember many years ago in Book 3 (?) that there's a throwaway line the MC says to Toph, before he leaves, that if she's going to have another daughter and that Sokka happens to be the BD, name her Suyin. So Mity ran with the Sokka is Suyin's father thing.

They do. How much does however really depend on whether your playing the love or the slave route. I think the latter one had some footjobs (Ty Le if I'm not mistaken, also characters from that route), which were absent in the love route if I'm not forgetting something. The love route has however at this point way more interactions with the mentioned characters.

Another question. How much does it matter if you go with the Spirit, Nagia or merger path in the end? They seem to play out quite similiar but I'm not entirely sure. Also how long does the love route epilogue go and does it have an end? Played it for a couple in game days now and it seems to just continue - no complaint here, just wondering.

Honestly, man? You're going to miss A LOT. Even if you don't like it or don't watch it, you might not have even known it existed, but it would still be worth it. Both the love and slave routes—play it and then tell me if you regret it.

Not really, no. The only real choice that caries over, as far as I can tell, is who you marry in book 2 love is also the "main" girl between Mai/Azula in book 4 love when they show up (and the same in the epilogue for the love route). Otherwise the only other thing is implying Lin and Izumi are "your" daughters (but you were in Zuko or Aang's body at the time).

just keep in mind that this is not a TV show. the game doesn't stick to some canon plotline in some series you don't like, of what i heard. i myself haven't watched the whole thing, aside from few glances at the first ATLA and don't plan to do so. not my thang. leaves me lucky enough to just enjoy the game, as game, and not having to wrack ym brain over any supposed mismatches and YEAbutts over something that is NOT the TV show.
i'd suggest you play like you've never seen any of the show, if you can pull that off. juuust the game, all of it. you don't like Korra? good. punish her, there's plenty of that, too.

Yeah, having those call backs would have been nice, but there's only so much optional content and referencing it later would likely be a lot of work for very little payoff.
