Hey all! It's been a few weeks since you last heard from me so let me tell you a bit about what I've been doing. Nothing you didn't already know. I've been working on this month's Spookytimes (

for the earlier two) It's fun to be able and do something completely different. Something where I can get a little more silly, but all that amount of creative fun/potential can have it's own challenges. Like for example having too many things you'd like to try and then doing both at once and getting something... bad... Or at least not good.
It's like when you try and say something while still deciding which specific word you're going to use when you're already pronouncing it. You'll end up with a weird combo word which doesn't even exist! Have you ever had that? I kinda felt like that about eight days with Spookytimes 3 ago, so I uprooted some things I was doing and did it differently halfway through.
Then I decided I wanted to change all the menu boxes for clickable images... which turned out to be extra clicking for the same action and I really didn't like that, so I had to turn it back. But I hadn't stopped implementing other things so I couldn't just use an older safe version. If all of that sounds like a chaomium (chaos + pandemonium). It sorta was!
Midnight oil was being burned in an effort to not let it lead to problems later on. Which is always a wild gamble with me because whenever I go beyond 2:00 AM the chance of having a headache for the entire next day is about a 25/100 thing.
I'm happy to say I un-chaomiumed things and I'm pretty happy with how things are progressing at the moment. Which is a good thing, because a Spookytimes NEEDS to be released on the 31st or before and time marches on!
The situation above isn't why I don't have a nice Halloween inspired pic for you (Boooo Wendy Testaburger BOooo!!) No, it's simply because I forgot! Which is crazy because I had opportunity enough since I've also been testdriving a new painting program and could've easily combined me testing it and drawing something Halloween inspired.
I'm currently(and since I started working on FET) using Sai, but it's animation capabilities are NULL. No onionskins, no timeline etc. When checking whether something looks good when moving I always had to export every single pic and turn it into a gif or tell another program to turn it in a (quick) slideshow. It's terribly slow, but there are some reasons why I did it like that.
Anyway, long story short, I've been test driving Krita since it also has a Linux version. It has issues which will make me still need to jump between sai and krita, but it has some animation capabilties and I'm playing with that to see how it works. The Toph spinkick is made in it and I'll add a tittyshake in the attachments which I did afterwards. I'm just in the testing phase right now.
And that's pretty much been my month so far.
Lastly, for something entirely off-topic, but which I found extremely interesting when seeing it, I'd like to mention gaussian splatting! It's an efficient way to show point cloud data on your screen. Think 3d photo. I'm kinda excited to see where that can lead to in the future. For a direct view yourself, just visit this site

It's obvious - but there is one problem. I have concerns about whether the content added after the main plot ends will be able to provide something more than just more sex scenes. I didn't want to write this because, after all, FET is basically a porn game and sex is obviously the leading theme, but - in the main plot (I mean the ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT adaptation of both TV series) MITY showed off creativity, intelligence and sense of humor. With each subsequent update after the end of the plot - FET becomes what it was probably for many of you from the beginning - an ordinary porn game for jerking off... I want to be wrong - I really want to be wrong, but I'm afraid that the fatigue of the material is becoming more and more visible - will eventually sink this project.I assure you that if you donate a large amount, the game will continue.
Developers lose interest in their own game when no one donates.

understandable.
the story (as in, game story until the end) is told, the epilogue doesn't have much of a 'new' story, wasn't even planned to be a whole story to begin with. now you're concerned it's just some more pictures.. likely, it will be that. the project, as is, has come to it's end basically with MiTy releasing the 1.0 with the main story 'complete'.
Marty did what he told beforehand, adding things he wanted in the game all along, and he will possibly do that for (wild guess here) another year or so.
artists' filthy habit.. i know some stuff myself which i really want to get back, pieces i've sold, and the thought of them being like they are now keeps nagging.. i couls should change this bit. and that one. it's not like it could be. it's done, but..
back to, well the last bit of epilogue story i assume will be done until early spring, but Marty won't stop as quick. probably won't ever stop polishing this game, without major content/story change after both route's Epilogue.

I remember when you could still see how much MITY patreon was receiving monthly it was about $20K-$30K.
The thing with FET is simple, it's finished, they're just overdoing it out of the fear that their next project will not be as successful as FET was.
Honestly as long as the art is good and they write the characters as well as they did in FET then they'll get it to be at the very least half as successful which would still make them bank.

wrong. they don't overdo FET. check my other post; Marty does what he wanted to do all along, FET is still considered finished. the MiTy team said that, themselves, months ago.
Marty is an artist with an ongoing activity streak, that's gonna last noone knows how long, and if anyone forces him a vacation he might snap. artists won't stop when they're 'on a roll' that's just how they tick. that is what we still see with FET, it 'still needs this thing and that polish' in the artists' eyes.
if a patron supports someone, it might be for 'just some' single game, and then he drops out. i know people who did, and still do. if a patron supports a team for whatever 'else' reason, he probably keeps up the support even when the 'just some' game is done.

And as a cynic, Marty's trying to make the best of their situation. They have an active patreon that is still drawing in money, a parnter that hasn't shown life outside of the poll they did, but who we all know wants to work on a dragon prince game (and who owns MITY so they can't be cut out).
Meanwhile Marty doesn't want to say ok we're doing nothing and shut down the patreon like last time,so they're adding epilogue single handedly, while also working on 18titans which has shown some interest so its a safe thing to work on while delaying FET as much as they can get away with, and spookytimes which works as another thing to delay the end of FET with.

i think even if dragon prince would have won the poll cbob wouldnt necessarily be working on it, he hasnt been working on fet for a while and i dont think this new project would motivate him so much that he suddenly returns otherwise he would have allready worked on the project no matter what the poll says, whatever stops him from working on these projects i dont think it has to do with what project he has to work on like writers block i think its more then that.

cBob possibly hasn't really recovered from his breakdown. even if, could happen they've put him on some psycho medicine.. which can bring a devastating side effect, for someone who lives on inspiration and such, like writers mostly do. that stuff slams your brain straight, when you consider the more heavier ones. then it's all gone.. as long as you take it.

That was long ago.
The modern medications are much more efficient, they can even treat schizophrenia decently.
If I'm not mistaken, didn't cbob have some sort of health issue or mental breakdown or some such? I don't think getting to use your favorite cartoon for insperation in your next game is going to be fixing that.

Supposedly, supposedly fixed it too. Then came back after a hiatus to run a poll that had dragon prince on it after more evidence before which showed cbob loves dragon prince, then when the Poll said Kim Possible instead Cbob disappeared again.

I think its for the best that cbob disappered. I just hope that marty can get the mity account to himself or create a new one so that nobody has to give cbob money. I was really looking forward to a Kim Possible game

there's the snag.. the stuff can treat a wide range of somethingsomething, insert name. but the side effect is, that you do indeed lose the spark of creativity that drives your stories. or you lose other things. well, it's not really gone. it's just not within reach anymore. and mostly you aren't even aware of that. or can't find the right thought that'd give you the idea to look for some motivation to bring yourself to care about it. because it's part of the fog.
you lose the grip, and that fact loses importance. then it doesn't matter. because you lose the ability and drive to care.
Guys, I would really appreciate it if someone could make this folder (now an archive ofc) into an rpa file! I've modded the image archive and now just cant put it back together:/

That's just not how these medications work. Example some of the antidepressants can make you much more productive and generally more performant. Especially if the patient has been going through a severe depression phase.
Also people react differently to different types of medical products. Of course stuff like neuroleptics can sedate patients completely, after all they are prescribed against acute psychosis. I.e. the patient wouldn't be able to act or think as a human being anyways.
