There's currently a bug with putting in the code without getting the scenes that gives it to you. I and a couple other people on patreon got soft locked by putting in the code without getting it from Varrick.

Sorry, you're right I was confusing it with the love route. The change made that content inaccessible if you didn't start over Book 4 or cheated.
For the slave route there's one scene where you need to have seen Jinora's tree house scene in Book 4 slave route for reaching the 3th level variable of Ikki's special scenes. So, as long as you use a save where you got frisky with young Jinora in the tree house you should be fine when giving the right answers.

Saves and Renpy are a topic on itself. You can never be sure they will work as long as a game is in production.
