I'm left to wonder - what's the artist gonna do with the extra time, given that the coder is already lagging behind? Work on more content to implement, touch up more on the current workpile and try to improve what's left to implement? Because I'm not entirely certain the coder will be thrilled to come back to an ever-increasing pile of work, towering up.
Burnout sure is a bitch.

News people.

Hello friends, slutty compatriots, coder here!
Things have happened. Many things! I've been writing and rewriting a post detailing all about it for the last few days at the request of the artist. But all it did was make me feel down, reliving some old and some fresh things that I’d rather move past. I don't feel comfortable talking about it all yet, mostly because I have no idea how to relay rough things without coming across as self-pitying or exaggerated. But I’ll try and share some as we go.
The point I want to make is that I'm finally, since what feels like an eternity, starting to return to my old self. It's been awhile. I took some time to revive my creativity and then, among other things, my ankle exploded like a confetti cannon on New Year's Eve. Oh shit, are airport metal detectors going to be a bitch now? …Huh. Anyway, I’m back on it with new ideas and energy and you can expect some results asap.
I can't reward you for your patience with me as quickly as this month. I regret that, because you certainly deserve something for sticking around with us this long. But I promise you that if your patience has run out we will send you a build as soon as it's done, regardless of whether you are a patron or not, once it's done. We'll pm or email it depending on your current patron status.
All I can say is that I think the last few months have been pretty weird for all of us, and settling back to normal routine sounds pretty good to me.
The artist has a bunch to say too but wants to make his own message so whatever he has to say will be posted tomorrow.
Thanks for being the best there is.
Cheers

But the real question here is ... will they get something for the end of November or the beginning of December? Or is it going to move for a super update in January? Taking into account just everything will readjust to what it was like this week.

It probably won't be a mega update considering he said they'll ship as soon as they have something, I'd safely assume a normal release with a 4-5 scenes if I didn't want to be disappointed.

This is what I'm wondering about too. Given that the coder effectively stopped working after the previous update was finished (in early August) and is now starting again from that point, that's FOUR MONTHS worth of art that the artist has presumably piled up since then (excluding the assets for the Halloween side project). The best case scenario would be a December or January update having potentially twice as much content as usual, if they just focus on incorproating the scenes instead of any new systems or minigames.

Nothing ~ i mentioned this before when people say the artist is "still working"

Unless he starts releasing a lot of pinups to fill the massive gap between art and code, then all the "im still working while the coder recovers" is just words, because it will never be proven that he worked on anything, since the coder will be always behind (assuming anything of it is real, because we know patreon devs are experts on making up excuses ~ since they have big fanbases, they know they will never be doubted by them)

The artist probably just finished the build art and chilled for several months

True mate ....will do the same if i was in his situation .This is why I never donate, the patreon creators have to much freedom on them. The ugly reality is that it just some dude that draws porn in his house and the other guy is a low key coder that doesn't have skill or responsibility to get a job in the it-business...other thing is that patreon supporters don't really care to much of money,if they donate 2-5 euro is not a big deal..hell that's how much I spend each morning at work. The real problem is when 1k of dude's come and donate for your passion project and you see that you have 20 k euro a monthly from your project then you become lazy and lose any artistic vision or dignity you had for money ..

I will buy the game when it will be completed...it is a good game, probably the best VN on the market for western audiences..hope the creator next VN will be about Netflix dragon price..It has the same vibe like avatar

I recall commenting here before saying that we'd get an update from Summertime
Saga before we got one from Mity, and someone said I was wrong. Now I am just waiting
to be proven wrong when we've already got the last update from SS and no Four Elements
in sight :ROFLMAO: and here I was hoping to actually be wrong. This was the first game I actually
played years ago which got me into others.

TBF, when you said that, it had been a really long time since the last STS update.

It's fair to assume the artist was relaxing all the time too, in fact I wish he had. But there is proof he wasn't, you won't see it soon though.

dont know about you guys, but as soon as the rape route is done the game will be complete for me, unless they make an option other than Korra in the love route
I myself can't envision the love route at this point being enjoyable, given what an absolutely awful character Korra has in the slave route so far, but I'm interested to see what they'll do though, that much is clear.
So far I didn't dislike any of the routes to the point of not playing them, so it would be a bit weird if it were to end on a note like this, especially given I tend to prefer the love routes more.

I think a love route with Korra can still work if Mity writes her in a certain way. That said I do understand where some are coming from because I personally really dislike Korra as a character and her series which I feel kind of just ruined the original. And man don't even get me started on the comics. But even if I don't like her personally I can still fap to her because she has a great body and that's all that matters here. But Mity did Azula pretty well in Book 2 so maybe he'll develop Korra in a similar fashion.
