Actually for the largest group possible you'd want to have as many niches as possible but nothing particularly bizarre as the core story. So Furries/ Lolis / BDSM/ etc may have some representation but each should only be optional rather than mandatory.... Hell throw in a Trap but also leave every hint in the book in so no one is going in being tricked.
Also, it is possible to have a new trainer with the same source material but it shouldn't be a well-known trainer/popular trainer and should have a different core premise.

there are so many potential series to "spoof", if you include anime the list gets even bigger! however, i trully hope no naruto, dont get me wrong, the series has some great lookers, and a very interesting setting that is open to alot of fun, however, we already have more than enough projects about them.
if i could pick one, however, i would probably pick either Family guy, the incredibles OR Dexter's lab. the last one could very well open a "multiverse" kind of story, and bring along alot of CN's characters.

Well you would obviously start with Island, maybe if it goes well go into the sequels? Island has probably the best babes anyway. Classic.

That'd be a nice concept, you're a late entry contestant that wasn't expected and every week or so you have to perform a task (minigame) to stay on the island and vote all of the other males off so you can build your harem.

There are a couple of Ben 10 ones that got started, one gets updated every so often, then there's a couple of teen titan ones that are meh. Bleach doesn't have a trainer. There are so many anime based trainers that are possible but the common one I see is Naruto which so far there are 3 that I know of.
