After playing through the FET storyline, I noticed that in this worldview, Azula's child belongs to the player. Does that mean Tenzin is also a descendant of the player and Katara? It seems like we took the place of Kanto in Toph's case. I wonder if the second descendant is also the player's, or Sokka's.
With timetravel, and amount of sex you have, it might not be an exaggeration, that most benders are related to protagonist "adventures". You supply sperm to one of waterbender tribes, and you have a "cow" farm in fire nation, and you were the last airbender. I dont remember anything on that scale in earth kingdom. And Tenzin went around fucking random girls too, even without protagonist control over him. And I am pretty sure Katara is pregnant in earth book, with potion bullshit.

Yeah, but you have to remember that we're constantly inhabiting the body of others. So book 1 we're in the body of Aang, book 2 it's a Rando/Zuko, book 3 is Aang again, and book 4 is Tenzin/Rando. Don't get me wrong, I love the implied incest with things like Izumi in book 4 love epilogue, but that's technically Zuko's kid (which if you choose Azula is kinda hot too).

Important!
If you are patron or actively supporting any dev, make sure they know what shit is happening now:
because of some braindead shiteaters from "Collective Shout" who complained to payment processors(visa, mastercard), said processors decided that it's their damn business to decide which content is viable and which game you all should play.

So thousands of games was deleted from Steam and later after that - over 20 000 titles was deleted from itch.io.

If you have any connection with you favorite devs, WARN THEM. It is fucking time they make backup plans!

If they did nothing after patreon mass shiteating - they are careless.
If they did nothing after steam joined dark side - they are stupid.
If they will do nothing after itch.io shit - they are suicidal.
DEVS! You have been warned. Don't whine if you do nothing and lose everything.

Not really a lot they can do to be honest. That group is going after payment processors and they effectively run a cartel. MITY had a shadow of a chance because it's difficult to quickly review a VN, and with book 1 being archaic and honestly kinda boring, unless it specifically gets reported I think it will be pretty safe.

The overwhelming majority of stuff being deleted/delisted/hidden on steam/itch are directly titled with things like "incest" or "rape", or had tags for that stuff. Patreon doesn't have tags and FET/18Titans should hopefully be safe.

Yeah the best way to handle this is to lay low and die quietly. Yup.
This is called learned helplessness.
There is a lot what dev can do. From searching other platforms to relocating "hot" elements from public version to additional patch located on their own personal site. But for starters - begin the magical process of "thinking beforehand".
Yes, tag system is one way of temporarilly protect the content - but is is solution for the platform itself, not for the dev. And that kind of protection can be broken easily - DLsite changed theit tags from loli to something else, yet - it didn't work out.

I'm going to assume if a game lets the player insert the relationship that it'll automatically be tagged as bad? Maybe our "landladies" are in danger as well.

Anyways I'm sure there are alternatives but reaching your subscribers could be the hardest part, most have discord, right? Plenty of ways to get around the issue at hand but of course you'll probably end up losing quite a few subscribers no matter what.

Doing some more ranting because what they're trying to do isn't solving anything at all. It has quite the opposite effect even, it's such a waste of time and resources to pull something like this. People will always find ways around.

Woah, calm down there bud. You're solution is to pull the curtains and hope everyone's not caught in the crossfire. I agree that being proactive is the best possible solution, but as we just saw with itch that wouldn't have helped as all adult content got delisted.

If Patreon is hit by this too they're probably gonna have to do reviews of it's 18+ content (which will be time consuming and expensive), or take it all down and only allow the most obvious safe stuff back. Quickly trying to switch to other platforms is unlikely to help and is a good way to lose subscribers who won't follow you too the new site/discord/whatever.

I don't want this censorship any more than you do, but the only way to change it is to convince the payment processors to stop being such shitters. The only way to do that is likely to get the government to step in and as I'm sure you know, the party in power in the US is currently dealing with a pedo scandal the likes of which we've never seen before.

Creators should be careful, but I don't think any potential coming ban hammer is going to be narrow and used individually...It's going to be wide and indiscriminate.

My guy, you're very naive if you think some mentally ill undesirable catladies were the main drive behind this - they're merely an excuse, payment processors have been doing this shit for years and will continue to do so until some government tries to reign them in, which they won't for obvious reasons (just look at what UK themselves are doing lmao), so better start archiving now.

They should make their own payment processor. And steam competitor, while at it. And get me a goth gf (not fat pls). And elect politicians which are not fickle and side with consumers, and not involved in giant blackmail rings.
Also their own cloudflare, videohosting, banks, and internet providers :geek:

It really does not matter who started this on who's behalf. Shit happened several times, community did nothing so after each hit those clowns became bolder. Devs did almost nothing, so each next hit was harder. If they will continue to do nothing, next thing we will know - is their migration to grey jurisdiction which is not good.

Curatins? Crossfire? What the actual fuck are you referring to? Are you trying to attribute some shit to me that I didn't say? Or are you just imagining things?
Itch did almost nothing, even their explanation article came out several hours AFTER deleting games. What did they do after patreon first shiteating session? Nothing. After steam got hit? Nothing. It is not being proactive, it is quiet dicksucking. And now after taking a direct hit they are saying they STARTED TO THINK ABOUT IT. Well... Good luck to them. They'll need it.
Patreon was hit already, when he changed hos guidelines. But there is a little secret here - there is NO SAFE CONTENT. For psychos "enough" option never exist. Those clowns started to sue Detroit Become Human game - and there is no porn content there.
As for convincing payment processors, I can't exactly know what way is preferable for you. In EU there is a way with petitions I guess, in GB they are already eating shit with "wanna see porn? Give us your ID!", in US there is bill called Fair Access to Banking Act. But it is long and tedious process. From what I can see, reletively quicker solution for devs - if some platform with the ability to pay with cryptocurrency to depersonalize payments. But is not possible for any single dev to make that and I don't know any platform like that. Maybe there is several and I just don't know about them yet. And again - I am not omniscient being, maybe there is some other viable solutions that already exist.

Relax man, "pull the curtains" and "caught in the crossfire" are idioms. You don't need to get so defensive.

Yeah, "Collective Shout" is a bunch of moral busybodies who have been bombarding payment processors with thousands (not an exaggeration) of calls telling them these sites (steam/itch) host content that violates their TOS and that they should pull these sites ability to use payment services unless this content is removed. I hate moral busy bodies and people who tell me that I shouldn't be able to do something that's totally legal for me to do.

There's no Patreon like site that I know of that processes payments in the form of crypto. While something like that would be nice I doubt it exists, and getting wide spread support on a site like that would be challenging at best and incredibly frustrating for non-tech savvy users.

It's rarely the payment processors that are the active force behind shit like this. They will easily ignore things that violate their TOS until it draws too much attention. "Collective Shout", the organization that started all this are a bunch of moral busybodies with nothing better to do than fight against people enjoying fiction.
