It's rather strange to hear such questions from the moderators of the topic. The topic has both basic instructions and more detailed ones. There is a video walkthrough, etc. The OP has all the necessary information.
This is in addition to what is in the game. If you read the dialogs, then you can understand what you need and what to press at least at the first start, at least at the tenth.
It has been written more than once that the game is divided into 4 parts, and these 4 parts is divided into 2. There is also a description that the choice of any part is not connected with another and you can immediately select the part that you need. Accordingly, at the start of the game, if you need part 4, click on part 4 and then follow the dialogs.
For part 4 there is no detailed walkthrough yet, but for most people this is not a problem. The main problem is that the current version is not playable from the very beginning of part 4. There are uncorrected bugs and you cannot go far.

i don't really understand what that means but if it's unplayable i won't play it yet i finished everything from the last version if that means anything

When trying to call Zhu Li the error comes up and ive tried to fix it as suggested but it always says invalid syntax so what do i do?

Note: I am using a save going all the way back to two years ago, and I think this was the only version that i've had to go to use the console to resolve a problem.

There are lots of bugs, up to know I already found 3 bugs only on book 4, playing from start.

Here what you'll have to do to pass over these ones (might have more, I'm not sure thou, I'm still mid-game).

Open Console and put these (If you don't know how, try to discover yourself).

Go inside the folder "game", create the folder "bk4", inside create a folder named "backgrounds" inside insert any image with the name "tower_night .jpg" <-- IMPORTANT must have that space in between.


Edit: Some parts I had to change the value of "equal_room" to 6 to be able to talk with Lin correctly, instead of her saying "Go capture an equalist.", but a tip, don't do anything but talk to her, also it's highly recommended to return to the older value, or else you might crash something.

I dont know how say this without sounding clearer but just talk everybody go all the plases read what they are saying it usually isnt that hard.
This uptade seems people strugling more than usually even when not taking the bugs in count.
I usually just check later when the changelog is relased to see if i missed something hardly ever anything.
Are people just generally nowadays so lazy or dum not even trying themselfs not pointing any fingers here.

I'm really stuck, I've tried typing the code "b4_tp = Character() " into the console and it just says "character" is not defined or "invalid syntax". I don't know what to do. I also have no clue how to get my hands on the magazine for the prisoner.

Make sure that there is only 1 space on either side of the = and that there are no other spaces, don't use quotation marks either. Just do it exactly as i have below.

Magazine is at desk just chooce to look for it when Lin goes to prison cells.
It was looping in the first version when give it the prisoner so after giving it just go streets last screen then tower at night should trigger just keep trying.
I dont know anything about console commads or coding just playing the game as is.

Did you even read my message i cant help you beond that with so vague info only if you have save in bad spot it seesm people having proplems when trying play from earlier book 4 saves.
I had save after the icevillage visit returning home its been litle loopy put playaple.

i did what i could with this update i think i've finished it no new scenes come up didn't get any major issues
