Played the book 3 routes but I stopped playing when I got to Korra.

Having Tenzin be the main character just doesn't do it for me.

The body your player-character in inhabiting is basically a grandpa.
That's just kinda gross.

Had the same issue with Witch Trainer.
Like, yeah i'm actually the self-insert MC character that takes over these people's bodies, but everyone else looks at me and sees the wrinkly-ass dumbledore, so... nah bro.

It makes no difference to me who the protagonist is possessing (as long as he is a canon) after all, we not even to see the character's face in the sex scenes.

He's not a real grandpa, but he's old enough to be one.

Most common age to have kids is mid 20s so by the time you're 50 you could have kids who are 25 themselves and already having their own kids.

By the time you're in your 80s your grandkids will be fully grown and ready to start having kids of their own.
It looks like Tenzin didn't have kids until he was already like 45, which is pretty late as things go.

Regardless, the point is that he's a old man.

Nah, you become old at about 40, then you stay old till you're 90, then you die.
This has been true basically forever. Every new advancement that extends people's lives doesn't slow ageing, it just lets you remain alive as an old person for longer.

... granted, people in Avatar regularly live to be 100+, but 50 is still too old to be boning teenagers.
Not for ethical or legal reasons, but just because it's not hot anymore.
Leave it to the 20-something studs.

Lin is like in her 40's and she ain't old.

Point is this was a dealbreaker for people at the time it came out too. I don't understand it but I don't have to.

I think barely having lived around half your life time (even less in ATLA where you can live to be 200) is not being an old man, no, it's called being middle aged.

No, this hasn't been true forever, it's how a 10 years old see aging.

... You know that even in the middle age, living to be 80 or 90 wasn't something unheard of, right ? I think you don't understand how a human's life expectency work.

People have been thirsting for Will Smith longer than a lot of 'muh 20 something stud' have been alive, buddy.
