Certainly if that is the case they should be doing well. They may not need other jobs but they may still have them. If it was me I would do quite well with that money being I live in a ural area the cost of housing is way cheaper of course everything else is much higher but housing is a large portion of peoples expenses. I don't even earn half of that sum. Well at any rate I hope they can pull it together and finish this project it would be a shame if it ended now at the almost conclusion of a good game.
Assuming the game finishes, Im not honestly sure if we'll actually end up seeing a "book 5", but more likely an epilogue build that might be a bit larger than a standard build
I'm not so optimistic we'll get another full book out of them after 4, not with all thats happening, probably just a decent sendoff before they either go on a long hiatus or Marty dips to do his own thing

Holy fuck, you literally can't earn that much money in my country without having the government asking you if you sell drugs or something.
I think you click that star at the top of the screen, but it only activates every 7 days. You can also use rollback during the fights, so do that if you're an idiot like me

meh ive seen games go on a longer hiatus and still not be considered abandoned. Hopefully its like last year and its a max of 4 months.

on february 7 they will allready pass 5 months since the last update. However that was just a bugfix the last content update was september 1 2020
im not considering the halloween sidestory here even tho i really liked it but that was only the artists work and we are counting how long the coder has abandoned the project since that is what prevents new updates right now

That point becomes moot when the creators of the game literally go "yeah we dont know when we'll start working on the game and we'll be gone a bit." I consider that to be a little abandoned since no one is actively working on it right now.
