actually, this one is not that grindy. just some of those minigames do need some reworking and some are annoying, but i haven't had difficulties to gain just the minimum amount of cash required without cheats. also when stuck, at least in FET works the click everyone. most true greinders don't even have that to progress..
oh and for the missing obsidian, iirc Shady gives out one when you win a crab battle, been a while since i've played that book. memory's fogged.

Unlike others, I do not have any problem with so called cheating. My aim is to have fun. Anything that doesn't serve this is something to find a solution for.
For example in Book 1 you have to mine some stones, in book 2 milk the cows etc. I don't want this, it doesn't serve me.
In some games grindy is fun. In most - not. I enjoy hunting for hours in AC Odyssey. From my point of view cheating is only viable word for playing against humans. In any other case the only parameter that counts is my own fun.
You're right most games are way more grindy than FET. Well, I don't play them once I find they're grindy. From my POV, VNs are what I prefer, but there are not so many good VNs I found, and when I found at last one that is a masterpiece it is only enjoyable for psychopaths.
Obviously recommendations are welcome.

I meant that I must've triggered the bug where you have to upgrade hospital BEFORE the tavern and I had to... bypass that.
I did later added more money since there weren't any sex scenes (AFAICS) from grinding but you know....

Well, they hit home with the antagonists for the most part.
The twins were great, but Unalaq was a lot of wasted potential. The idea of the Avatar having to face their own family, and he idea of a dark avatar is awesome. It was just executed so poorly and he ended up being kind of lame and uninteresting.
The others were great though.

Finally after 5 (?) years the game is finished. I've been waiting way too long for this game, the last time i played it just finished book 2 and i would love to see what does it has to offer now. Let's just hope that the ending won't be like Book 5 untold

Book 4 Kuvir mini game, and i lose every time. I want someone to finished this mini game for me i'm tired of that mini game.
I believe you're going to have to do that minigame at least 2 more times before you leave the city and one time after leaving the city. The first file is after beating it for the second time and the other file is after leaving the city.
