Talk to various people all around the map to progress the story. That's the answer to 99% of progression questions you may have playing this game.

I get the swamp scene too, so I guess it's a bug

We need a hero to link the new version 1.0.2b it probably fixed it

i think i finished all of the scence, toph broken status is at 4/5, defeated long fei, joo dee is pregnant, im stuck at the mother and daughter scence with toph and her mom

I think you have to talk to katara and upgrade all the buildings to max
