Being a ffxiv player for so long this is the project i'm more interested in this site, hope you can carry it to the end

btw if you have plans to add another languages in future updates i can translate the game to portuguese free of cost

For now I have no idea how language translations work in Ren'py, ha ha
But if I ever start looking into that, I'll remember your kind message Thanks a lot ! A portuguese translation would be nice as most of the artists working on the game are from Brazil (Syllax, Michelle and Elz)

So obviously early days but what characters are planned? I know alot of people have issues with Lalafell in R18 situations. So I'm just curious if we're getting Shortstack action or not. Understandable if you don't, it's not everybodies cup of tea after all.

i personally would like some lalafell action, but i would like them to get the treatment of that one chocolate dark knight lala who is always drawn as a shortstack, specifically, kimono tararu, nanamo ul namo, and krile.

I'm not against Lalafell content, but the issue is people can't really separate them being adults from their small design. Even with mods to make them shortstacks.

Not gonna lie, there's a reason why I had Krile mention in my game that most Lalafells were asexuals. I know they are adults and obviously have sex in lore, but I'd still feel extremely uncomfortable depicting them in NSFW situations due to their childish appearance. Besides, it's not like I don't have a wide cast of characters to choose from for the game.

Speaking of which JustAnAnonDude, the idea would be to have each release focused on a new romanceable character (and their associated job), alternating between male and female character. So 0.2 will have Estinien and afterwards I'll make polls for each release with 2 or 3 characters to choose from (in existing or neighbooring regions), and that will also have an impact on the release's content.

For example, in a few weeks I'll make a 0.3 Patreon poll to choose between Hilda (with MCH job and the rest of the Heavensward zones) or Kan-E-Senna (with WHM job and the Black Shroud Zones). Once Black Shroud will be integrated in the game, we could have Lyse or Raubahn appear in the polls in order to add Ala Mhigo next, etc. until I can cover all the locations from the base game.

Some romances might be shorter than others, and if I get enough support I'd love to hire another artist and start having more secondary characters (Hildibrand & Nashu) or raid boss (mommy Athena)

As I also specified earlier in the thread, characters that are underage in the original game won't appear unless I do a timeskip, which won't happen anytime soon but could be a good way to implement characters like Zero or the Dawntrail folks.

0.2 version is progressing smoothly. Can't give a precise release date yet but I implemented some QOL changes to lighten the grind, implemented the Miner job as well as several new skills and a way to select which ones to equip. On the art side, lots of assets have been made (ennemies, skills, UI stuff...), Estinien has his portraits as well as several sex scenes sketches, and I contacted an artist to start having custom backgrounds.

For now, I'd rather try to have an update every 3 to 5 months. I feel like from a player and a patron's perspective, it's a good compromise if you know you'll get lots of content on each release.

Otherwise, adding two characters in each update would be too expensive for me right now, especially as I'm using my savings. If financial support allows me one day, I'd love to be able to find a second artist with a style similar to Syllax's and add other NSFW content, in quests and stuff. Comments in this thread have proven that there are A LOT of characters people want to see and I obviously won't be able to provide a full questline for all.

Technically, I could say there already are several paths for each character. Excluding the Friendship and Romance distinction, playing either as Male or Female unlocks different sex scenes so romancing Estinien, for example, will reward you with gay scenes or straight scenes depending on which MC you play (and 0.2 will have a New Game+ feature). Still, I know that's not what you were talking about but I felt like I needed to point that out.

If that can help you feel better, it's impossible to fail crafting in this game Worst case scenario is you use some more ingredients.

Sadly playing other races is off the table (the game's scope is already quite big as it is), but I do intend on having the player have the option to sleep with Ameliance, Fourchenault or both.

By the way, 0.2 is in bugfix phase and will be released in a few days for patrons (as soon as I get the remaining assets) then publicly available a week later, so expect some update here very shortly !

No underage or underage-looking characters though : that means no Lalafells, and the currently minor characters won't be added until a several-years timeskip (so much further down the development)

Patreon gonna go full Sundering on dev's ass if he added that.

This looks really impressive by now & while I don't care much for male characters' romance routes (or any, for that matter, unless they are unusually well written for a porn game, which is by no means a necessity) I can't help but tip my hat to the amount of content added this update. If this is roughly the standard I feel like there's no need for me to wait for more characters to be added, it's gonna be worthwhile checking them out individually.

Edit: Also it is truly great the much requested option to go for a "true harem" approach was added, always awesome to see Devs listen to their players' requests for quality of life features like that.
