Misinformation is so bad nowadays that people throw words like "Copied-right-in-fridge-mints" around without actually knowing what it means. I partly blame Nintendo for this.
For those of you confused about what rashka41 is saying, this can't be copyright strike because:
It doesn't use copyright characters, it uses a parody of them.
They look nothing like the original characters, and the model creator allow free use of said models.
They have completely different names.
Concepts can't be copyright protected, go ask Nintendo and Sega how that worked for them when someone didn't back down to their lawyers.
Therefore this game falls under Fair Use.
Can it get booted from Steam, sure? It's unlikely, but it's very possible. And if it does, copyright will not be the reason for so.
