If you want my opinion, this seems like one last quick cash grab before this dev disappears. I hope I'm wrong, but I can't imagine generating 30 or so images and adding repeating attack patterns would take very long, so I'm not hopeful that the dev is willing to actually add "additional content" for these new enemies.
Feels immensely like that. Their patreon dropped below a thousand coming in and they pushed an update before making users/income private. Bad sign.

The game crashes after any event ends for me. Both in the latest Windows release through Proton, and the native Linux version.

Yeah and it's basically nonexistent cuz they couldn't be fucked to generate a few more variations.
Double it, they're not even animated, they just change the character position or sprite by inches, you can test this just by letting the starter monsters bang you or using failing temptations of random events.

None are animated as far I saw, to top the offense, it reuses the same animations for most monster, and the unique ones like slime is literally a single non animated sprite that ends soon on next turn.

That's serious because if they're using AI, it's no excuse to have so few, as someone who used AI image generation (and still uses sometimes) because I wanted to see how exactly it worked before judging

Making the perfect prompt isn't easy how it looks like... Still need to pray and make the AI not mess up with your configs, lora, etc...
But it is farthest of hard, in fact, it is only time consuming, and it don't take literals 30 minutes to prepare a batch of it.

You could open any generative ai and toss pixel art lora, and in few minutes with minor patience you can replicate this man's 'art' and make even bigger batches.

Honestly, the game itself looks promising, but it's laughably unbalanced, hope dev isn't taking those as hating, I want to like this game, but on that state it is unacceptable.

The only excuse for taking time is if his loras and references images are made with his own original art, but still shouldn't take long once he already made the first batch correctly, the AI gonna get what you want and rarely gonna repeat it mistakes.

Lmao no shot that's the case.
So far balance wise every single update has been utterly atrocious. In the past unwinnable unless you get the 1 or 2 broken cards or now utterly trivial as you can just stunlock every enemy. I can understand lazy development if he just has a fulltime job and not a lot of freetime, but in that case he should pause the patreon until he has an actually substantial update to push.

But there is seriously no excuse for lack of images. Once you have a working prompt you can shit out HUNDREDS an hour. Either he's barely working on it or his process for integrating new content is vibe-coded spaghetti that takes way longer than it should.

The patrons are equally responsible imo. Western devs would genuinely have much better output if people were actually serious about cutting off donos if output or quality under-delivered.

Weird thing is I kinda like this game and want it to succeed too, but damn the flaws are just glaring.

didn't even read the patreon fiasco, sounds bad tbh, asking for money for the betas of your game are a horrible sign overall
very few can justify it if they are making exclusive patreon content, but this game is on early early alpha.
charging for you to see images anyone can make for free on generative ai websites are quite low.
and i just saw the date of the initial release, like... thiss isn't just a beta game, it's solid alpha sate, tech demo, call it whatever, there is no content on it, you are playing because you are testing the game mechanics, just 3 stages, and they don't even have unique bosses, full of reused enemies and etc...
Dev is taking way TOO MUCH TIME just to add 4 new enemies that shares same animation as all others for your character.

Not only the linux version is a .pck (no it's just not cool that i have to search how i'm even supposed to launch this stuff) but it's broken to the point i'll have to restart it every event! PLEASE either find another way to compile it properly or just don't! We already struggle enough with any types of games here! Don't make it worst!
Just use Lutris with the windows version. That should work just fine

Creator's patreon page seems to have vanished. Don't know why they'd cut their own finances if they were abandoning this game, so it looks like the site itself probably purged them for some reason.

probably realized making a actual game isn't easy as they thought, that one just can't start charging patreon for alpha testing something, shame, this game had all potential on my eyes.

i know its not every developer, but its not uncommon to dudes just charge patreon stuff, take years not even for a title update but small bug fixes to say they are working on game, and it becomes a coinflip, keep financing, and you don't know what dude might just decide to not do next, or you can not risk, and the game ends up dying.

The LORA for this game's art style is one of the first pixel art LORAs you can find on Civit. I felt like the protagonist looked pretty similar to Lucy from Cyberpunk Edgerunners, lol.

I don't even mind the cheap art since the game has some good ideas, but it could afford to be fleshed out and balanced a little better. Some playstyles just get you killed, whereas others pop off almost immediately. Stun probably should be its own status and not the climax status, or otherwise be less easy to do. The cycle of healing off of your own horny points or whatever is fine though. Also the name of the horny points should be homogenized between enemies and the player, since they basically work the same. The blowjob playstyle also has some ironic cross-over with the enemy who demands their own style of blowjobs out of you and there might be a few bugs or sequencing issues there with the progressing blowjob slideshow (which was probably made using the deepthroat slider LORA come to think of it). We probably don't see the same step-by-step animations of other positions because the artist wasn't very patient with the consistency of the generation.

Also why does the Game Over just happen without explanation? I feel like there should at least be some bukkake image to imply your character broke and got used? Plot-wise you could easily justify this as some Megaman Battle Network-type shenanigans since we're literally using Lucy from Edgerunners.

I know this game's probably dead, but like, yeah.

I recently discovered the game on (itch version 1.1.3) and like the concept and its ability that offers different play styles.
I love how there are multiple ways to make the character more lewd or horny and that there is also a way to actually win fighty while the girl is completelly submissive/sex-crazed.

So I found a build that in its core got as many 'tentacles inside' (from event) as you can get and the TENS (hardware upgrade). Both types of card can always be played, since they don't cost energy. So in one turn (exspecially when orgasming) it is easily possible to play 8 cards or even more. Aside from bosses, everything will pretty much trigger multiple orgasms per turn.
Healing comes from the (in my opinion very overpowered) 'Battle Haze' card.

Well, but it is fun to play. You just have to make sure to not accidentally kill enemies too quickly.

Also, for RNG purposes, the game only saves when arriving at a new node. This means that if you do not like an enemy encounter or event, you can just go back to 'main menu' and 'continue' to have another shot at RNG.

So far I am really only missing 4 things:
  • It would be nice having more sex initiating cards than the blowjob one. One single enemy does also include a dildo ride initiator, but without this enemy, all you can initiate with is blowjob.
  • The total amount of 'Lewdness' is not displayed anywhere. Seeing how much you got without needing to have to add everything up would be nice.
  • Multiple enemy attack descriptions are flawed. Meaning, they enemy does something different from what the game says it would do. This is disrupting gameplay and it feels exspecially annoying if you die as a result of false telegraphing.
  • An endless mode would be nice, too. In many runs I finally got to good decks only at the end of act 3 and after the boss it is over.
