Discovered this game after playing New Life With My Daughter, and I must say I enjoyed it very much. The characters all have great models, particularly the super cute Alice (who switches between sweet and sultry with great ease), the dialogue sparkled in places (I particularly liked the banter with Melody, the nickname jokes - I hope Alice gets one of her own - and the cool little speech MC gave about not caring she was hooking up with Leah) and the story constantly drew me in to find out more. I didn't like the sleazy sleep molesting because I prefer to play a decent character and what decent person would really do that ? But, hey porn game logic (and the pics were very nice). The Pacifism route is definitely a bit lacking compared to Perversion, with less content, dialogue that was less sexy and feeling more of a pushover. The Susan scene was also far more to my taste with Perversion. The only advantages of Pacifism was being able to avoid the creepy groping and the superior 'proving' scene (I actually went with this option on my Perversion run, as well as the far more erotic bottle spin option during Truth or Dare, so I hope I don't pay for losing 2 points from my score).
Then I read the posts on this thread and wondered if I played the same version as other people. My impressions of the story seemed very different.
The affection displayed by Alice for the MC throughout was so genuine that I could almost taste it (I wish I could !) and I can't believe so many players labelled her as lying and manipulative. This all started when she rushed off to be with Leah at the house, but it was obvious she was just very excited to take that next step and not have to keep the secret from MC any more (and, frankly, I would beat a hasty retreat from an audience with the Pope to go fuck Leah!). I think some people forget that Alice was on the verge of telling MC about the relationship only to be distracted by MC confessing how much he enjoyed sleeping next to her naked, which is much more indicative of her real feelings. As for laughing behind the MC's back when he had to hurriedly defend Alice from Leah's accusation of being a slut...well she told him to his face almost as soon as her secret was out, and it
was a pretty funny situation. Having said all that I can understand why people disapprove of their relationship. Alice is the focus of my romantic hopes and I wouldn't want to share her. So long as their fucking stops if MC and Alice become a couple I am cool with it.
Leah I found to be cold and rude but nowhere near as bitchy as most people, or the MC in game. On meeting him she is the first one to warn about Susan's sexual predation, and tells him that if he goes to class with her he will avoid taking abuse for being late, not the actions of a real bitch. In fact, she was only truly annoying in the bathroom during her house visit, and a bit hypocritical when calling all the other girls sluts, since she is the only one who can categorically be said to have had sex to orgasm with more than one person: the MC (definitely), Alice (probably) and whoever she shagged to require taking birth control (this was spoken out loud and not denied so I am taking it as a fact). Melody is just a fun-loving, mischievous wild card whose only sexual conduct, apart from a bit of flashing, has been with herself (not a slut) and Susan has so far only touched the MC's penis (I do actually believe she is a slut but evryone's warnings are hearsay not proven facts). Actually, Susan is my least favourite girl, more of a bitch than Leah for giving MC detention just because he didn't snub a fellow pupil and that form signing was very suspicious (MC could have signed away his power of attorney, a confession to stealing the school's petty cash or a love letter to the local police chief for all I know).
