Nah, M24Metro is one of those that think keeping update news behind a patreon paywall is the way to get more people interested enough to pay for it.Any news on the next update? Kinda quiet here.

Because you have to subscribe in order to follow the project, unless someone steals it and puts it on this place.M24Metro just released some art from a new project. It is all good, but im wondering why put it behind a paywall? What is the thought process on how it is going to generate more paying supporters when it looks like this?

That flies in the face of logic in the case that the other guy was posting.Because you have to subscribe in order to follow the project, unless someone steals it and puts it on this place.
Thus, it becomes a matter of 'wanting to support the developer'. It's a little extra for the people that do decide to support them so that they can continue development while begin supported. Perhaps it's a special artwork, perhaps it's just a first tease. Whatever is the case, you aren't privy to it unless you subscribe.
Some developers even send out patreon-exclusive games that are only for paying members. You want updates, support the developer or just ask someone here kindly. But by all means, support the community with good energy.
I understand what you mean. From a marketing standpoint, the artwork teaser could perhaps work best as an advertisement. That flies in the face of logic in the case that the other guy was posting.
The artwork teaser is essentially advertisement to generate interest in their new project.
Putting that behind a paywall is ridiculous, because asking people to pay to see an advertisement is absurd.
Only charging for access to the actual content behind the advertisement is how you should get people to subscribe.
If you're talking about MEGA storage, just wait awhile if you have MEGA's app downloaded to your computer. It'll pause/put the download on hold until you get more (usually takes about a day.)here is the new build can someone make an alternative link i dont have enough storage for it

It's a bad idea plain and simple. Have news updates available to everyone, have paid content left for subscribers. If mrketing worked this way for every other company in the world they would have zero success as info is locked away. Very stupid idea and method.Because you have to subscribe in order to follow the project, unless someone steals it and puts it on this place.
