What happened? Is it just a title change or is it something new?

Season 2 - v1.0.1 Steam
This is the "Steam" Version of Kate, they are essentially the same game, only the main character's name has been changed and is no longer Kate.

Fresh Story is the new game title for Kate on Steam. The saves are in the same dir, but broken in this latest update.

You can play the new H scenes in their gallery:

1) Denis (swinging / NTR) enthusiastic sex
2) Oscar (office boss NTR) NTR bj
3) Jimmy (cafe rapist) bad ending whoring bj sex, gangbang, humiliation, pregnancy

There is a another scene for the vanilla love route fans, lol Archie is about to get real friendly with his cellmate. Sucks to be you, NTR haters

I fixed my saves so I could play, but it's basically the above same scenes. Given there is only one route that isn't a bad ending, the Oscar office boss route, I guess you won't need a working save for Season 3(?)

Save 55-6-LT1: Day 58 NTR / swinging sex with Denis

Save 56-1-LT1: Day 58 Archie love route (you basically just skip the Denis sex content)


Technical shit

How I fixed the saves (if you're technical and you want to preserve your exact choices):

Enable console

Load up a broken save and press Ignore until you can open a console then paste in (one line at a time)

Not gonna lie I didn't even play this update yet my save broke and with how much a mess the branching is don't feel like redoing all my paths / saves right now. Kind of weird the dev changed the FMC name for the steam build tho

Saves are all gone sadly and don't add the walkthrough mod (error will occur) until the one who mods the walkthrough updates it, but I mostly skimmed the ones I knew and didn't skim the ones I didn't see or remember.

Not sure if I wanna go and get all the scenes in the gallery and I heard about the bad end in this thread (almost got it but Harry saved the day. Although he's also a fucking asshole) and you could watch it too. Maybe if there's an unlock all mod, I'll totally extract in the game folder.

As for the three choices in the end, I'm indecisive (didn't choose one so I'm just waiting on till February update). Though I'm thinking of choosing the Oscar one. See how long Diana (formerly Kate) can hold on and perhaps expose that ugly bastard Oscar, but a year is a long time.

Hello everyone!!!

After the new update came out, a bunch of bugs and errors surfaced. I've already fixed everything (at least I think so), but maybe something else was left unnoticed. I remind you that I'm testing alone, and sometimes I may miss details. If you run into problems, please message me on Discord - any help is greatly appreciated.

What's changed:

• Content with Liam has been temporarily removed

His story has been put on pause due to possible risks of getting banned on the platform. But don't worry - the script has been ready for a long time, and I will definitely return to it after the main story is finished. Alas, now I have to take into account the rules of the platforms.

• Fresh Story” is now with us

We decided to keep this name for the game to avoid confusion across platforms. You will still be able to enjoy Kate's adventures, and the ability to choose your own name for the main character has been added.

• Old saves will no longer work

You will need to start a new play through to start the game correctly. This is due to changes in the project build.

• Solving cache problems

If the game gives errors related to the `****.rpyc` file, perform the following steps:

- Delete the contents of the folder:

`Users/NameUser/AppData/Roaming/RenPy/FreshStory2`.

(as well as all other folders associated with the game).

- Remove the `cache` folder from the project directory at the path:

`game/cache/`.

- Restart the game so that it creates new caches.



Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for your support. I'm trying to fix bugs as quickly as possible, and I'm already preparing new content for the February update.

This isn't the end of the story - there's a lot more to come.
