I don't know why people release renpy games in 4k. Correct me if I am wrong, but from what I understand renpy always uses software decoding, even if you have the best gpu available, the cpu is the one doing the decoding. So unless you have a high-end cpu the animations will probably not play very smoothly. Also most people don't even have 4k monitors. If you look at steam's hardware surveys, only 5% of steam users have 4k monitors. It seems like such a waste of time and resources.

Mainly because people like me spend a ridiculous amount of money on our rigs and want everything to look as pretty as possible.

I didn't spend all this money on my PC and setup to look at games in peasant vision.

The bigger the size, the better the game

Starfield is 135gb.

Yea I can see why the people that have super high-end rigs would want that, but the vast majority of people don't have rigs like that and AVNs are already a very niche thing. So from my point of view it really feels like a waste of time and resources. For renpy games I think anything above 1080p is just increasing development time for no real gain.

With the latest updated, I am not surprised all the Li's will become lesbians in the future, and fool with each other w/o MC which they just did(Chloe&Julia). Chloe was establish as a lesbian and kinky, then all of a sudden Julia became also(clearly she is uncomfortable to the situation, its not her character and it was forced). Lesbian content was not even presented in the home page or a possible tag, prior and after the released of the game and clearly it was established as a harem game.... also I think there are still straight girls on the roster.

And from what I've read, there's NTR in the game even if you can't see anything, but through dialogue you can assume something with the blonde bitch and the redhead. Is that true? Do the blonde and the redhead have sex or any physical interaction with another man, regardless of whether they kiss or flirt? If so, the game isn't for me. Maybe you could try to using PayPal to purchase from Steam? As well I suggest using a VPN service to hide your IP address, as that might work well with downloading and the purchase.

For me a good game, has to have a good story, and decent renders, it's not about the size, it's how it manages to grab your attention through storytelling , characters and development. but to each their own i guess.
