And here I was, just finished the game, about to go support the dev.He claimed there is 30 minutes of gameplay in this beta release. Let's use it even when we know there is like 5 mins really. This update took 6 months. 15 team members. 21 working days per month - after hard work let them relax during weekend. I got to 30/126/15 = 0,0159 min of gameplay per day for each team member.

My only guess is they hired a PR type person to advertise the product all over the place. I'd assume they would hire some one for the job as it can be quite hands on dealing with all that.
I don't know how much of a discount Steam users received (edit: they got $13 off) but the update was only $2 for patrons who spent $17 ($15 now) total. If you were a former beta tester, you already met the criteria. Although the update was short, I thought it was well worth the $2. I had no problems downloading the massive file from Mega even though I am supposed to have a 5 gb limit.
You could say Dev's have been inadvertently stress testing the fans/patrons for awhile now. It seems like over they're development time they gradually loose motivation. As the lack of motivation starts to effect the games quality, they quickly realise they can get away with it and become more and more less motivated. They've clearly come to the consensus that quality is valued above quantity/time taken. So it can't be 100% the dev's fault. Vote with your money.
its not much but its marginally better than before, i think he ought to delete his social media experts team and try again though.
