He certainly had power over her. Maybe threatening her that he would harm Susan if she didn't comply? I'm pretty sure Sue will come with an explanation in season 3.

i actually thought the animations were really good imo. Honestly some of the best i've seen if not the best. They're really smooth and seem realistic. As realistic as you can get with the models of course.

Not necessarily no, but in this case it seemed like they were good friends at the very least if not more, so it just comes of as odd, at least to me.
