Played the game on Itch.io. I only played one run and didn't win. I just wanted to see what the game was all about.

Game was pretty jarring for a first time player that doesn't normally play card battlers. Got thrown straight into the thick of it with no explanations. It took me a minute to figure everything out, but that initial feeling of "what even is all this?" might turn off a less patient player. Your UI needs some reorganizing or labeling on the meters. Being able to see the numerical values without having to hover over the meters would be nice as a quality of life thing. Especially in those situations where a player is analyzing the cards in play and they have to weigh their options and count their resources. I believe someone else said something similar to this in the thread, but it bears repeating imo.

My biggest criticism of this game is that it doesn't feel like I'm "battling" so much as I am "managing." The enemies start with 3 cards and they just cycle through through them like a list. That is until they get aroused enough, then they get 3 extra cards or new cards. My point is there's not much "strategy" involved. It's more like "shit, they're going to do that one move after this one. I hope I draw the right card to deal with that one." The enemy doesn't strategize or prioritize moves, they just go through the motions. They aren't going to heal because they need to, it's just the next card that was on their checklist of cards to use during that turn. If the enemies had some kind of logic behind the cards they play, that'd feel a little more like a card battle for me.

All in all, I think the game's pretty good. Has room for improvement, but good nonetheless. I might play it again because I like rogue-like games and I know I haven't seen everything this game has to offer. Just wanted to share my first impression of the game in the hopes you can glean something helpful or insightful from it.

From the moment I saw it was an .exe file, I knew it was hiding something. It has a virus. DO NOT INSTALL IT.

that SHA hash matches the one of the build from my machine so the exe is not comporomised if the sha hash there on screenshot is accurate (see SHA HASH spoiler in og post)

I can provide/distribute it as an installer instead if that is preferred?

New build going up soon maybe tmr. was hoping to do it today but i'm battling sound compression :\

Big fan of this genre in erotic video games.

Can't get it out of my head since I downloaded the demo. *Free Cardware* was a wonderful game but the pixel art kept me off it. I know this is something people are for, but for me it's hard to get into. I also know some people have a strong dislike for AI-generated images and art; but I've always found that good AI has a higher ceiling to make images that look "clearer" or in higher definition. I'm for AI-generated art and I've found a beautiful marriage between the two.

This project has so much potential and I've played the demo up and down. I'm excited to see development that gives player agency to give this game a stronger sub-theme of corruption (I'm thinking glass cannon playstyle where you have benefits from having high arousal). As I said in my review, I think the guts are all in place and now it's a matter of patience for the solo dev to get the work done.

Losing in Combat should not be an ending of the run ... you should have the option to keep going without armor and such and being naked should give you bonus Ero dmg

... It is essential to note that every card incurs an additional cost of 1 card, in addition to its listed cost. This makes Flourish cost 1 card and 1 mana on a turn for the benefit of 1 card on the next turn; or 1 mana, do nothing...
morphisblob can you suggest any resources that describe approaches to calculating cost/value in deckbuilders? or even games I should play to get some more inspro from?

right now I have this scrawled down on paper in front of me:
2MP ~= (4HP or 8aro or 3heal or 2evade_stacks or draw? or [...])
... the card cost should be factored in as you only draw three and have a small deck so card cost/value is very high and then falls off as you fill the deck.

Looks promising, but how good it actually ends up will depend on how much content will be added in near future. I followed another card battler game from the point of early alpha that also looked quite good at start, but the only new content there was were fixes with slight, nonessential updates overall and little content patch one time in few months i believe. So i lost my interest in it with time. I wonder how your roadmap looks like right now and also how you plan on expand some themes, like transformation for example. 'Cause it annoyes a lot when people make games, (using tf as example) put 1 small transformation and add a tag for it into their game. Sometimes, it feels they do it just to add as many tags as they can. Anyway, for now i can say that maybe raising difficulty a bit and adding selection for it will be good, as it was relatively easy to me. Art looks good enough, no complains here. Enjoyed playing it, so waiting for new content to play it again
