That feels more like deflating the entire tension and making the setup boring ^^#

Oh well. Let's see.
Neon said there was some other stuff he wanted to fix too, about their prior relationship and dialogue + he’s fixing the art.

“Yes, I want to but not like this - only when you’re single, and only when you want to do it without the money. Our first time isn’t going to be because I paid you."
This is what I wish for, because is the thing I would do if I was in Guy' shoes in that type of situation. But, ultimately I hate forced sex scenes in AVNs in principle.

I know it's a porn game but damn the feelings I had here were strong.
"I need help.."
Ironically, the favorite thing to hear for both romancers and dark path enjoyers

But speaking of favorite romantic scenes (because sexy scenes are all of them, really), I gotta say the most recent one with Gabby is my favorite so far I think. The way she nursed his bruise, how Neon described her scent, very immersive and enduring. Every Gabby scene, I'm wondering what's wrong with all ya'll who don't like her as a LI :p

Others I loved that were close seconds were Pepper also nursing Guy's bruise and cooking for him at the restaurant :); and anything with Carolina & Brit really.. something about the way they're written makes every encounter feel like a sweet flirtation. :giggle:

I get it, but to me what they represent is that Nicki was willing to have someone literally, physically alter "who she was" even though she could look for other options instead. That's not fighting hard, but if anything, quite the opposite -- choosing to compromise your values for an easier out.
I think that's the point of her arc, though. For a very long time, with Brent, florida man, and now Guy depending on how you treat her, she's let herself get run over by various men in her life. I think Neon is planning for her to arc away from that and rediscover who she really is and why it's worth fighting for. A lot of people genuinely have this issue, btw, letting themselves be molded by others, even those with clearly bad intentions. We humans are complicated

Neon my man, this is stunning and perfect awooga

But, why is there a floating ring on the left, and what in god's name happened to her clam!? :ROFLMAO:
Wait, you guys don't see my new John Cena model wearing a cockring?? As for her anatomy, I was doing this render for a supporter who wanted it, so I may have cut a few corners.. :'D

Hey dude I think you talked once about the LI not being perfect and having flaws I'm curious what flaws you consider Nicki & Mason to have.

I'm tyring to think of some but I can't but that could also be because I'm biased or something.
I think Nicki's biggest failing is her people-pleasing nature. Guy points it out last chapter, asking why she put up with Brent. She says something about being overly forgiving, due to how she grew up. If you pull together a few disparate remarks about/from Nicki, you can kind of assemble a picture of why she is like she is. She points out that she didn't have anyone to turn to aside from Guy, because she can't ask her family for help. She tells Maya that she has three brothers. Owen (Mr. Rhodenbarr's guard/body man) details a file he assembled on Nicki, which says both of her parents are both in prison. And of course she's able to forgive Dark Guy for being a real piece of shit.

I don't like to lay out too much stuff in posts like this, because sometimes my feelings/ideas change as I'm working on the story, and things I said on blog posts or message boards don't match what eventually ends up in the game. Plus, everyone has their own headcanon for characters. But, in my mind Nicki grew up in a very chaotic household, where she was likely abused by a family member. This causes her to subconsciously seek out men that are controlling and/or abusive. Maybe because it's familiar to her, or maybe because giving up a certain amount of control allows her to abdicate responsibility for when things in her life go wrong.

Her path with Good-to-Grey Guy is all about learning to take responsibility for herself, and build healthy boundaries.

Mason's biggest failing is that he's a furry.

Thank's man. I know you're a busy dude, and I appreciate you taking time to talk about these things with us.

For me, one of the most interesting parts of the game is the good Guy & Nicki dynamic.

but I have to be strong and resist because I know when I do decide to play that's going to be one damn good update

It's her struggle, her fight, but I'll be there with her for the whole journey. I'll wipe her brow, I'll hug her and give her pep talks, put her boxing gloves back on and be the firm rock for her to stand on, as far as I am able and she wants me .

Imagining John Cena with a pencil dick thin enough to fit that ring around is an infinitely entertaining image you've given me

Damn dude  Very fascinating read, but sad. I like picking your brain on the game.

I always love reading everyone adding their own perspective on a character though! For me, I wondered if Nicki is the way she is because she doesn't quite have a firm grasp on herself, doesn't know what she wants in life, or what a good man for her looks like, and so kind of just goes with whatever other people want out of her; whether to adopt a sense of direction for herself, or to distract from the numbness of feeling lost.

Of course, I base that partly on my own personal experiences, or people I've known, or just characters in other works that have influenced me. Maybe there's some writing in the game that goes against that interpretation of Nicki? I'm pretty slow to pick up on details, shit memory etc. But that's how I imagined her, if anyone gets anything out of it.

I'm pleased that it kinda meshes well with what you had in mind, about being a people pleaser with an abusive past and a chaotic family life. A certain number of people pleasers out there do it because they don't know how to please themselves, so taking care of others sort of scratches that need vicariously. And in the case of abuse victims, sometimes satisfying others is how you survive. So depressing when you think too much about it

Mason's biggest failing is that he's a furry.

Oh man, but in all seriousness.. I don't think I can come up with a flaw for Mason, because he's mostly just a victim of circumstance really. I guess the fact he was willing to cuck Nicki, and really put the pussy pressure on a taken Guy... that's pretty messed up. Let's just say if Nicki puts a nerf bat to that furry mask and bops Mason some good ones until he forgets he's a man... well, Mason mah boy, you had that one coming

Mason is just insecure - which is normal, given his circumstances but I think in Mason’s head if he can make himself more valuable to Guy (by whatever means) it decreases the chances that he ends up back on the street so he’s willing to do a lot to avoid that.

As for Nicki … now I’m worried because I’ve known two people that match Neon’s description (more or less) and they did not end well. Neither of them could handle relationships that weren’t abusive, so if a guy wasn’t mean to them they’d be mean to him because it’s the only dynamic they understood. One of those two people is dead now (self inflicted) and the other was homeless for awhile and then left - said she was going to New Mexico (to chase a guy who she’d been in an abusive relationship with years before) but who knows.
