Going to have to agree with the sentiment. She does not deserve all the hate some people give her. 
I thought it was a joke and have not tried it. I assumed it did something clever, like make Nikki your only choice. Cheers to NeonGhosts for giving people the option I guess. Now can we just get our option to include Gabby in our photo session(s) with Brittany...
I can't in good consciousness allow such Nikki slander. She's the best friend MC has, she's just made some wrong choices out of a place of love for a manipulative asshat.
Playing it for the first time, I felt so bad for Nikki when she came back. First time a game has made me feel like a simp .

tldr; Finished another scene where MC reviews Jamie's stolen photos. Curious to see the reaction to this one, as it's about as close to the dreaded 3-letter acronym as I plan to get. Blame my (lovely) patrons, they voted for it! And I'm hard at work on Mason's scene, trying to finish it out before the end of the week. I had to strip a minor visual thing out of the scene to speed up my rendering timeline and streamline things. But, it also made sense from a storytelling standpoint, so it worked out.
If you chose Viola's 'dirty show' and didn't humiliate her at the end, she's probably still willing to be chill with you. If you did, she's probably less inclined to like you, but she might still tolerate working for you. Money's money.
Cards on the table, I only had Brittani approach MC instead of vice versa, because people had complained that MC was always the one to take the initiative, and it felt kind of predatory. I never really saw it from that perspective (I was just trying to give people the chance to turn girls down :'D ) but it kind of made sense. So, I figured I'd flip the script and have Britt make the first move.

The way I see it, if MC doesn't continue the shoot with Britt, she leaves pretty quickly after he wakes up. So, Jamie probably came back after MC and Brittani had left, and found nobody there. It's only if MC keeps Brittani around for a bit longer (like for an extended photoshoot, or a boobjob) that Jamie has an opportunity to return and interrupt.
I did the same thing with an earlier Gabby scene, but it was more subtle. Good-aligned MC has a talk with Gabby, either as a friend or a romantic interest. A shopper turns up right as they're finishing their chat on the friend path, while she shows up in the middle of Gabby teasing MC on the romance path. Meanwhile, MC with a bad relationship with Gabby has a very short, clipped conversation, and he's gone before the shopper ever arrives.
I'm not always super consistent about this, but I try to keep events on the various paths to roughly the same length of time, and if one ends up shorter or longer, I try to reflect that.

Still no pity for her at all, noone forced her to date an asshole (for how long?) and it's surely not a surprise for her, so let her meet consequences. How do I get the patch to work? I downloaded the .rpy but it doesnt seem to do anything. In the guide it mentions patch paths but they are not enable for me. How do I fix?
BTW, Just played all the way through, couldn't stop. Fantastic, 10/10. The writing and plot line are unique and feel real. I am just reading how there must be a lot of Nicki haters. I dont get it, shes one of the most important characters. Keep up the good work, if the patch is only available on Paetron somewhere, just let me know.

Mm.. I guess?! I don't see it that way. Brittani appeared as a teaser photo very early on, and didn't have a proper scene until two chapters later. It only seemed to help her popularity.Kind of a bad timing to show those pics in an update where you dont plan on adding Gabby x Mc lewd content tbh. It would be much hotter and would go over better if we could get some action with her after checking those pics out.
But I don't necessarily try to time stuff like this, either. I have certain story landmarks I'm trying to hit, and I just approach them organically as I write the script. It made sense at this point in the story for Gabby to be mad at MC and distant from him, and it made sense for him to have her photos after confronting Jamie.

There are a few on their way! If you're subbed to the Patreon, you can get a glimpse at one of them in Viola's short story. The Christmas photoset I posted also hinted at one. Currently they're only planned as side characters. But, I do keep toying with the idea of having one dark romance option, with a girl who indulges your darker impulses. But, I'd have to figure out how to approach it.. It's one of those things that's easy to go a bit cartoonish with. But yeah, unsympathetic girls are definitely coming.
I'm trying! :'D In the future I'm going to try to do smaller (500-600 renders) updates, delivered on a more consistent bimonthly schedule. These 1200+ render updates are kinda beating my ass.

This may not be the cause of your problem, but it's worth noting that the patch won't allow you to access the 'dark' content in save that you started from an unpatched game. You need to patch the game, then start a brand new run to get the full suite of options.
The problem is it looks like way too many characters are being introduced while the original characters get ignored or get little screen time to make way for the character of the hour. There should be more focus on Nicki, Gabi, and Brittani.

If you look at the banner on patreon you will see that the main characters aren't just those three. There are several others like Viola and Ashe for instance.

Good news! Finished up Mason's first saucy scene today, which was one of two big roadblocks I needed to smash for this chapter. I still need to do some renders for what comes after the spicy content (hint: snuggles) but I'm hoping I'll have time on Thursday to finish that up. Then I'll be able to package a new build for $15+ patrons, and finish the last few scenes for the update. Currently thinking the update will land very close to the end of this month/beginning of next.

And I think the next chapter will kind of show how some girls will have their stories begin to intersect with others. Pepper's story has the potential to pull you further into Gabby's. Viola and Ashe's story intersect with Brittani's in a way that people may not expect. Carolina's story has a connection to Gabby and Madison's. And on and on.
That said, I've been pretty adamant about not adding any more 'main' characters, outside the ones we've already seen. Characters may pop up for special events, or a little background flavor, like Risa or the upcoming Wren. But they're there more to serve the stories of characters like Carolina or Ashe.

I definitely get where you're coming from, but the game was always meant to be an ensemble cast. In my original draft, several characters weren't there, and it just felt a bit bare as a result. Once I added Ashe, Viola, Carolina, etc. it started to feel a lot more lively.

Just firing up this game and one thing really caught my eye, there is a patch that removes one character, nikki, from the game. Lmao is she THAT bad? what does a character do to have people asking modders to remove her? lol

Just a bunch of edgelords whining because Nicki took a lot of time to free herself from past abusive relationships. But from the images i get the feeling the patch is a joke over those people.
And to answer your question she is one of the most fleshed out characters in this game so far.
